Obsession (Sequel to : The Doctor Will See You Now)

I neglected from opening the envelope until I was sat down and with a drink in my hand.

So when I got home that is exactly what I did.....the money that Paul wanted was immaterial.....but he had hinted about the seriousness of the information....no doubt his tests had been done on a professional level and as such would be completely accurate.

I poured a generous amount of chianti into a glass and went and sat in the conservatory.....this was the moment of truth.

I ripped across the envelope and extracted a single piece of paper that was contained within.....an official explanation had been carefully drafted and written as though someone was responding to a job interview.

"Dear Miss Highfield,

After careful study of the material that was provided by yourself and subjected to testing with various substances it was possible to remove the base chemicals from its structure and determine what was the driving force behind its composure"

I could see that Paul was methodical in his research and liked to use technical term to show that he understood what was happening...I therefore assumed that mentioning a driving force was in the context of.....if the product was missing this ingredient then it would not be as affective....henceforth a replica or replacement product would have no effect whatsoever.

"The drug which is being trialled in surgeries to assist with sexual disfunction in lesbian women contains minute quantities of the tranquiliser known as Rohypnol"

Well bugger me with a fish fork.......I wasn't expecting this at all....it made perfect sense from what I had been told by Catherine....the victim was completely coherent but unable to do anything that they were forced into......in this case...sexual rape.

I had the information and I had the pills.....this was going to be easier than I thought.

I scanned the rest of the letter and noticed a seal at the bottom.

**Crafty devil.....he's put the seal of the Royal Society of Medicine the bottom....now if anyone questioned where the information came from....well they would know not to question it**
