I joined the girls….no point in depriving yourself of good food.
I was about to tuck in when Jessica entered the room….I turned around to her and beckoned her over.
“I cant believe it….that Chloe used me…..what happened….I regret it all….and she used it against me….made out that I was lying”
“I know….she even fooled me…..but don’t worry we will make her pay”
I saw Chloe enter the room and walk over to our table….I looked up at her sneering face.
“What the hell do you want?”
“I told you that I would make you pay……how you going to defend yourself now?”
“Listen Chloe I don’t know what your problem is…..or why you have this obsession with making me pay for the past…..you have hurt Jessica too”
“Oh yes Jessica….she used the pills…..the ones that you took from the surgery….she took one aswell…..your family are all as bad as each other”
I saw Elixir stand up.
“You’re a fool Chloe….making Catherine out to be a saint….she was fucking girls against their will”
“Yeah…..with the pills…..dont you see…..it all comes back to the pills”
I watched her walk away and rejoin her own table……I had to admit that her case was watertight….maybe she would win this…..but Catherine Baker would not be getting free….I would see to that.
I took my phone from out of my bag and quickly rang it….surprisingly it was picked up on the second ring.
“Hello…..do you need my help?”
“I do…..court restarts in an hour…..can you be here”
“Yes I will be there”
I put my phone back and tucked into my sandwich…..this afternoon was going to be a rollercoaster and just like the ham…..I was looking forward to it…..with relish.
