Chapter 10 Tactics

"Maybe can we go back to the headquarters?" Tsurugi asked.

"Oh, yeah. Its getting dark too. Let's get inside."

As they go back, they go straightforward to their rooms. Both of them are still blushing, while Minaho and Manabe tell what they saw.

"Are you sure to what are you saying?" Tenma said.

"Of course, Captain. We never lied to you." Manabe replied.

Shindou doesn't seem to be convinced, "I don't think so, there's isn't a possibility for Tsurugi to have a love interest. I mean, look at him. He's not a social butterfly, and he tends to be cold all the time."

"I can prove it to you. Tomorrow." Minaho assured.

Shindou said, "I'll wait for that. But, you two are sure trying to experiment your 'psychological clues' on the other people."

"Sort of."

----Time Skip, Wednesday 6:35---

"Okay, practice time! Go to your partners right now." Tenma said.

And they paired up, still the same. Yara asked what would they practice. She knew that they practiced all of the steps.

"What shall we do now?" Asked Yara.

"Repetition and practice makes the play perfect, got it? Let's focus on the shoot strength? Let's start."

They asked Ibuki to be the initial blocker for their strong-ass shoots. They started and repeated the process. Ibuki was already panting.

"Who's stronger, eh?" Tsurugi smirked.

"Well, I can't say. Both are almost the same." Ibuki said as he swished the dust in his gloves.

"Then, take this!" Yara shooted again.

"Hey, hey, Yara-chan, I'm not yet ready-!"

With the sudden shot, Ibuki tried to block it, but since he isn't in the posture, the ball got in.

"I said I wasn't ready!" The white haired male protested.

Tsurugi supported her shot and lectured him, "You know, Ibuki, sudden shots can appear in the game. You musn't let your guard down whenever the opponents are nearby."

There was nothing left for him but to sigh, "Alright. Let's try again."

Shoot here, shoot there. That's how it goes. Ibuki can't even block one of the shoots, but he's still trying hard. For him, both are strong. Soon, he got exhausted.

"Is there a more rounds to go?" Yara asked again.

Ibuki pants hardly. "Come on, let me rest. I can't really tell who's stronger." He lied on the grass.

"Well, rest there. "

"I think both of us are stronger. Next?"

"Dribbling, maybe?" He suggested.

"Sure!"

Then they race through the field. They didn't notice that they're the only ones who are on the field. One moment, Yara fell off.

"Argh, this is my second time falling to my butt!" Yara complained.

Tsurugi chuckled a bit, "Get up there." Once again, he gave his hand. His ears noticeably turning red.

"Oh, eh...Thanks...." She gets up, holding Tsurugi's hand, blushing.

Shindou, Tenma, and Minaho saw their blush. He's right about that Tsurugi kind of likes her.

Shindou's still not convinced, "Eh? I can't even imagine."

"Well, there they goes."

---After Practice---

Yara is going to her room when she felt someone following her. She turned and she saw Tsurugi. 

"Ah, Tsurugi. Why are you following me?"

"I just want to say that you must be the one who will make the schedule for the Forwards' and Goalkeeper's practice. Is it okay?"

"Uh, that's okay. Bye for now, Tsurugi-kun!"

"Oh, yeah. See you."

He proceeded to the living room playing with his phone. They didn't notice that Tenma saw them.

"Tsurugi-kun, you're improving!" He mumbled, giggling.
