Chapter 41 The Last 3rd Soul [Soul Showdown]

The halftime comes, giving the chance for Earth Eleven to rest. But their problem is, they can't play with their tired conditions. They're extremely exhausted because of the Berserk Ray.

"Captain, c-could Galaxy Eleven come here and go replace us for the next quarter? " Manabe requested. 

"I don-" Tenma was cut off in mid-sentence. 

"Don't expect too much from the Galaxy Eleven. This time, they won't be with us." Tsurugi stated.

"That Berserk Ray always defeat us," Ibuki said as he drank water. 

"Maybe I can use my magic to retrieve your stamina," Yara concluded. She whirled her finger and showed a light blue magic aura.

The team glanced at Yara. 

"You can?" Shindou asked.

"I think so,"

"Then use it for us now. Quick, we don't have much time."

"Okay!" 

Yara moved her hands softly and returned the team's energy, which makes them feel refreshed. Looks like that the Earth Eleven is ready for the next round of battle again.

"Yeah! I feel so energized now!" Tetsukado did kicking movements, signing that her magic was indeed effective.

Ozrock stared at Yara merely and watched her used magic. He underestimated her at first, but now, he saw that his thoughts wrong.

"I see. She isn't the same with the Earthlings around her," He narrowed his eyes, "She's a stronger and more powerful being."

Gorham walked to his side and said, "Ozrock, don't you think she seems to be very familiar?"

"You too?"

"Yes. I feel like I saw her some time and somewhere... I don't clearly remember now."

"Indeed. Anyway, we should talk about this after this game. We have to find a way to defeat Earth Eleven." They marched towards their teammates and reviewed the tactics they'll be using.

The buzzer rang for the 2nd time and the game continued. Ymir started dribbling, passed it to Dione then to Aegir. Kusaka trying to defend the field, uses his Iron Wall, but fails. Aegir sprinted through the field, and he gives the ball to Despina. She'll shoot as well.

"Heaven Drive!"

"Rising Slash!" Ibuki didn't succeed in blocking shot.

"A boy a can't block a girl's shoot," Despina smirked and chuckled.

Ibuki's eye twitched in irritation to what Despina said. The scores are 4-6. Ibuki threw to Shindou, who easily intercepted it. He dribbled it and passed the ball to Tsurugi. Gorham and Deimos are on to guard him because they predicted that he's going to use the Bicycle Sword for a shot. But instead of using it completely, he feinted it, shocking his opponents. He passed it to Yara, guarded by Tarvos. Like what Tsurugi did, she feinted her shoot too.

"What's this? Earth Eleven's forwards feinted their shots! What is the Earth Eleven planning?" The host shouted with the rallying crowd.

After feinting her shoot, he passed it to Tenma, whose with Tsurugi, ascending with the ball. Phobos gets ready because he knows that these 2 will shoot. Tenma and Tsurugi went on their designated position to perform the hissatsu.

"Fire Tornado Double Drive!" They chorused, executing the shoot chain they haven't used for a while now.

"Shoot Eater!" Phobos' hissatsu couldn't stop their shoot.
