Chapter 32 The Young Queen

The Earth Eleven takes the victory and gets ready for the next planet to battle to. Tenma, with Kusaka talks to Banda about their departure.

"That was a nice game, even we didn't win." Banda sighed to his teammates and Kusaka.

Kusaka patted his shoulder, "Better luck next time, bro."

"Hahah, yeah. Tenma, I wish you luck for your next game in Faram Obius. I'll be watching it."

"Really? Thanks! We'll be practicing more for that game. Take care also, Banda. See you in the next 4 years." Tenma replied.

The bug humanoid chuckled, "If I live that long. Have a safe trip!"

They leave and headed to the Galaxy Nauts Gou. It flew away to the Ratoniik, and the others peeked their last to the Green Planet.

Yara peered into the window, "I'll never forget that planet."

"Me too, I wanna go there again in the next Grand Celesta Galaxy." Konoha agreed.

"Oh wait, what's the next planet Captain?"

"Its Faram Obius, the 2nd to the last planet."

"Sounds that were already near on the Grand Celesta Galaxy's Cup. Yay!" She cheered.

Tsurugi, who is just quiet in one place become worried upon hearing the planet's name. He knows that there are events that happened there that could hurt Yara. "How could I say the whole truth to her?", he thought. Shindou saw Tsurugi's distressed face, so he sat down beside him and tried to know what's bothering him.

"What's wrong, Tsurugi?"

Tsurugi looked away, "I'm worried."

"Yeah I see, but why?"

"Remember what happened in the past Grand Celesta Galaxy? Why did I turn against you and the other things between me and Lalaya?"

Shindou is stunned at the moment he remembered the last year's games.

"Oh no, your problem's that big, Tsurugi. What do you plan?"

"To tell her the truth. I don't want to hide anything from her really. That'll hurt her."

"You have a point too, but the question is... what will she feel? Will she understand?"

"I don't know." The lad frowned.

The train is about to warp, and Yara saw Tsurugi. She never saw him like that before, so she managed to ask him.

"Tsurugi? Is there any problem?"

"Don't mind me, I'm just tired. I need to rest."

"Alright, then." She sighed. "But tell me if you have a problem okay?"

"Sure."

The warping started and in just a few minutes, they're on Faram Obius's atmosphere. They proceed and landed at the train station. As usual, Hecate greets them.

"You've reached Faram Obius, Earth Eleven. Welcome." Hecate greeted them.

Yara lurked around. "Wow, this planet is a more technological one compared to the other ones."

"Actually, this planet is the most technological in this galaxy." The tour guide said.

Tetsukado commented, "More advanced than us."

"And yes. Wait, the Queen is finding for you Earth Eleven."

"You mean, Queen Lalaya?" Said Manabe.

"Yep, this way guys."

Tsurugi gulped, kind of nervous, "Here it goes."

Hecate pointed the way and reached the castle. Lalaya warmly greeted them.

"Welcome to Faram Obius, Earth Eleven." Queen Lalaya greeted as she goes down on her throne.

Tenma and the others paid their respects, "Pleasure's all mine, your highness."

Not long after, Lalaya saw Tsurugi. Its been 2 years since she last saw his face and happiness strikes on her. It's quite opposite to Tsurugi whose been sad in earlier moments. She suddenly hugged him, which makes Yara look a bit irritated.

"I totally missed you, Tsurugi."

"L-Lalaya..." He glanced at the pouting Yara.

"So, Tsurugi and the Queen were linked to each other? How interesting." Hecate put her fingers on her chin.

Tsurugi gave Yara a 'please understand' face. She seemed to know so she looks away with a 'hmph.'

Tsurugi whispered. "Lalaya, stop it please."

His statement made her cross her eyebrows but breaks the hug anyways, "O-Okay, but why?"

"I'll tell you later." He looked at his girlfriend again, "Can...I-I talk to her, Yara?"

"Fine! I'll let you talk for hours or even days!" She blew her top and walks out.

"I think we shall go with her, your highness." The captain excused the team.

"Okay then."

The Earth Eleven left the scene. Tsurugi and Lalaya were the only ones who are left.

"What's with her, Tsurugi? Did I do something wrong that she went upset?" Lalaya wondered. 

"Hugging me earlier is something that made her mad."

"Why?"

"She's my girlfriend, Lalaya. My love."

"Oh... I see. But, what about us? Don't you love me anymore? Have you forgotten our relationship on the last Grand- "

"First of all, I'll never forget my experience here... with you. Its because of you that I get to see another perspective of a person, of a monarch. Although, I have no feelings for you at this time. I was probably infatuated with you back then, but I got over it. I didn't marry you, right? And I just give my respect to you and I just occupied the position of king because you need someone to help you." Tsurugi explained.

The young queen wore a dour expression, "I-I understand. But will you tell her the events that happened to us? You won't, will you?"

"Lalaya, don't make it sound that something did happen to us when there's nothing. As to your question, of course I'll tell her. I won't tear the trust we built we have for each other."

She sighed, "You've changed so much, Tsurugi. In a good way, though. I'll guess it because of her."

"Did I? I'm not aware, but I'd like to think she's the reason as well." He grinned a little.

Soon, she smiled. "In that case, I'm happy for both of you. I wish your relationship forever, so I promise to not bother you anymore."

"Oh?"

"I got over my feelings for you too. I was hurt and lonely when you left the planet, but then I was surrounded by people who love me, and so I moved forward. Perhaps, you're not someone who can serve as this planet's king. Besides, I don't want to give your girlfriend the wrong idea."

"That's right, I'm not fit to be a king. I'm just a young man who likes to play soccer. Good luck on finding that right person for you."

"Yeah. By the way, Tsurugi. Can I say these words for the last time to you?"

"Shoot."

"I love you."

"Thanks. But I already have someone I love now."
