Chapter 35 Shatter me!

After a long practice, the Earth Eleven goes back to the Galaxy Nauts Gou. The same what happened later, Yara didn't join in. Since its already 8:00pm in Faram Obius, they need to sleep. (They didn't skip dinner; they ate before they started practicing) Everybody goes in their own rooms then slept. Tsurugi can't because he's still thinking of Yara. Everything about her. Since the day he told her about it, they never talked to each other anymore. She seemed to be different one. She's a quiet, gloomy girl now despite being a cheerful, friendly, and talkative friend of all. He's missing her very much. As he think of that, he remembered what Konoha said before the training.

"Silence is the girl's loudest cry, Tsurugi. You know she's really hurt when she starts ignoring you." Konoha said. 

She's definitely right. He slowly fell asleep and had a dream. He dreamt about Yara.

It was dark. All black, nothing to see but black. He wandered around until he saw Yara, crying. He managed to go near and comfort her but as he does it, she gets angry and soon makes him go away. Even in dream, eh?

"Leave me alone. Go away!!" She wept.

Tsurugi approached her and apologized, "Yara, I'm so sorry. You see, I didn't mean anything. I-I haven't planned and expected this when those happened years ago. But I won't go. I won't leave you now..."

The black area where are they are lightened and showed all that happened in the past. He looked around and got shocked and cringed a bit.

"Observe. You really didn't mean anything right?"

"Yara... no..!"

Once again, Yara's aura changed as her dark side appears, "You... break me..."

Her appearance changed drastically, making her look evil. He knows its because of him, sadness and anger made her look that way. Yes, it's definitely her dark side. Starsight gazed at him and created a magic blast loaded with dark energy. He was petrified when she aimed a shot at him. Tsurugi closed his eyes, expecting a huge impact but before it could hit him, he woke up, exhausted.

Tsurugi was sweating. "H...her dark side... no way..."

In the other room, Yara was trying to sleep but can't. Something's really bothering her.

"Something's bothering me. Yes, I'm hurt but, there's another feeling...is it... what?"

She decided to go out and think about that strange emotion of hers. But the place where she sat down is just near the royal castle, which made her remember the betrayal of Tsurugi. The more she thought of it, the more that strange feeling gets stronger. No one can stop her from thinking because of course, he's her boyfriend. She started singing as tears fall from her eyes.

"I pirouette in the dark,

I see the stars through me.."

It was a loud one. Loud enough to wake up the 2 other veteran players including Aoi.

"Who's that?" Tenma goes out of his room.

"What is Yara-chan doing in the middle of the night? Bruhh..." Said Shindou.

The trio goes out and saw Yara sitting down, singing while looking into the castle with tears streaming down her face.

"Tired mechanical heart,

Beats up til' song disappears.

Somebody shine a light

I'm frozen by the fear in me

Somebody make me feel alive and

Shatter me..."

Aoi was worried, "What can we do to make her feel better?"

"I don't know either. That question must be targeting Tsurugi." Shindou shrugged.

"So cut me from the line,

Dizzy, spinning endlessly

Somebody make me feel alive and

SHATTER ME!"

The fiery black aura appears around her again. Tsurugi's eyes widened, "Oh no...her dark side...its..."

"What? Does she have a dark side? Do we have to stop her?"

"But how?"

"Maybe your souls can, can't they?" Aoi suggested.

"But we can't activate our souls in this situation. This ain't a disaster, she just needs to calm down."

After saying that, Starsight shot a dark energy ball to them but missed. Aoi and Tenma hugged each other when that blast almost hit them.

Tenma and Aoi trembled, "S-Shindou-senpai, I guess you're wrong."

"Okay, maybe we can use those right now."

Tsurugi tried to talk to Yara who was angrily staring at him. Its just like his dream.

"Starsight please stop. I know how much it hurt you but its in the past. I-"

"You...break me..."

It looks like his dream came into reality. Yara aimed another dark energy loaded ball to him. But before she could do it again, Shindou takes her down by her soul, Kujaku. She turns back to her normal form and then collapsed. Tsurugi quickly approached her.

"Yara...I'm sorry," Tsurugi whispered to his unconscious girlfriend. 

"Soon everything's gonna be okay, Tsurugi. I hope." Aoi assured.

"No Aoi, we hope. "

"Thanks," Tsurugi said as he looked at Yara worriedly.

Shindou yawned, "Tenma, its already midnight. We need to sleep because we have another practice for tomorrow."

"Okay, senpai. Let's go inside guys."

Tsurugi carries Yara in the bridal style and puts her down in the room. He stared at her and remembered the words of the song she sang. Those words were really from her heart.

"I already shattered you, Yara. I can't be fine until you do."

He gets outside but, he peeked to the door again. 

"Please, forgive me."

The 3 remaining players gossiped about their relationship. They can't do anything but to worry and hope for the good of those two. 

"They can't be like that in the match. I wish they could make up before it comes."
