"How did you talk to me in the enchanted forest?" I questioned as we walked along the road.
"Gold. By the way your escape made me more angry." I glanced at her.
"You were angry before I got there." She chuckled.
"Yes but I didn't have you." I shrugged.
"Again I'm-"
"Don't. I don't want to hear it." She interrupted me.
We walked up her porch to her door.
"The idiots are taking care of Henry tonight." She informed me as we walked in. I shut the door and followed her to her study.
"Sit down." I did as told and watched her every move. She sat down and that's when I noticed the necklace she took was around her neck.
"Keepsake?" I teased.
"Ms. Swan I kept it because I was very determined to find the owner." She snapped. I smirked.
"I think the owner is wearing it." I leaned back.
"Anyways I wanted to talk about what happened mine." My eyes shot to her. "I see it still works." Her smile was contagious.
"You do have an effect on people you have sex with." I husked with a shy wink.
"Well then let's see what else I can get you to do." She stood up and walked around the coffee table and pushed my shoulders all the way to the back of the couch. She sat on my lap making her skirt ride up.
"Emma! You need to get to work!" I groaned and rolled over to see her bare body getting out of the bed.
"But madam mayor I just want to sleep since I had to sleep on the dirt floor of your dungeon." She rolled her eyes and went to work pulling a tight black dress on.
"Well I had a lead on your mother. Plus you passed out in my bed an hour before I had them take you down there anyway." This time I rolled my eyes.
I got off the bed and walked behind her and helped her pull the zipper up.
"Then I guess I'll have to pass out in your bed tonight as well?" I whispered kissing her neck.
"Get dressed Ms. Swan and maybe I'll think of letting you mark more than once tonight dear." She husked. I giggled.
"Then I will." I moved away and collected my clothing before leaving.
I had gone to my parents house and took a shower and changed into knew clothes.
I came out of the bathroom fluffing my curled hair.
"Emma if I didn't know any better if think you looked smitten." My mom said from the couch.
"Mom you used that line with Regina." I said grabbing an apple from the fruit basket.
"Well it works on you to. So who is it? Is it Hook?" Her smile was larger than my apatite.
"No mom it is not Hook." I rolled my eyes.
"If it's the pirate he's gonna have another hook." David threatened walking in the door.
"It is not Killian I'm not into him at all." I said. That's when I noticed the book on the counter. I walked over and opened it to the part where we were in the enchanted forest.
"See read what I said to him while we were dancing." I said holding it up for her to see while she was holding the baby.
"Really? You told him that? Emma!" David laughed at my mom.
"She's my daughter and I'm just glad that I don't have to worry about the pirate." I smirked and took the book back.
I then flipped to the part where she left me in the dungeon to see she was telling the truth. But then I also noticed that our encounter was thank fully not mentioned.
"Looking for something in there?" I just shook my head as I looked at the picture of her tied to the post and Regina about to burn her to death.
"No I'm just glad that your okay." I whispered.
"You didn't think I would have let her beat me did you?" She joked at the matter of her near death experience.
"It's just that I relived what it was like to not have parents." The door opened and I walked Henry.
"Hey mom." He said coming up next to me.
"Hey kid what are you doing here?" I asked. He took out a letter and handed it to me. It was in an envelope with my name in fancy lettering.
"It's from mom she said to give it to you." I nodded and watched as he ran up stairs to go and read comics since it was Saturday.
"Where did he go I thought he spent the night with you guys." I said pointing the letter at them.
"He did before you got here Regina called and they had breakfast together." My mom said putting Neil in his crib.
"Oh." I said opening the envelope but left the letter in and grabbed my keys and left heading to my bug.
I sat down and took a deep breath before taking the letter out.
Ms. Swan,
I wanted you to know something the book doesn't tell. After you made your escape I paid Rumpel a visit. I asked him about you and he had no idea who you were. I thought he was pulling my chain till I realized that he truly didn't know of you. That was till I cast the curse he knew of you but not on the way I did. I knew of you to be the savior. At the moment I didn't realize that you where anyone I would remember. But that was a lie. You haunted my dreams. And when you came back to town I pushed you away because I thought you didn't know who I was. You were someone important to me but I pushed you away because if I didn't I would have showed weakness and back then showing love for others besides Henry was weakness.
I hate you, I love you, was how it went. I wanted so much to forget you. But when I saw you for the first time again. I realized that you didn't even know who I was.
When you left like I said I became more enraged but I covered it up with saying that it was for Snow.
But when I saw your face after I took the glamour off I fell in love. I didn't even make the connection between you and Snow till after you left.
Meet me for lunch and we can talk more.
