I sat at my desk reading a letter from my mother when there was a knock at my door and my partner and best friend Kathrine walked in with another blonde.
"Kathrine who do we have here?" I asked folding the letter away and taking my glasses off.
"This is the new intern I wanted you to meet her. Emma Swan." That caught my attention. I looked at the blonde to see she was studying me.
"Tell me about yourself Ms. Swan." I cleared my throat.
"Aw well my name is Emma Swan I grew up in a small town called Storybrooke in Main. I'm 29. Moved to Boston for this job." She nodded finishing her sentence. Kathrine looked at me and raised a brow.
"Well I'm Regina Mills I'm one of the corresponding owners of the Mills air lines. My father started it way back in nineteen sixty three. My mother and him weren't together but after I graduated from high school I came out here and worked for him until about four years ago I took over this part with Kathrine as my Partner. We are global so we go all around the world." I finished and studied her eyes. Something must have clicked with her because she was looking at me like I had told her a large secret when we were young.
"I didn't even recognize you Regina." I about chocked on hair.
"It's Ms. Mills when at work or on a business trip." I corrected.
"I didn't know this was the Mills airlines." She started to go bashful.
"Oh Gina your flight to Paris leaves tonight. Take one of the interns with you to show them the ropes over there? Oh look an intern why don't you take Ms. Swan?" She pushed the blonde toward me before running out of the room.
"How's Henry?" She rubbed the back of her neck.
"You don't get to ask about him." I snapped and leaned back in my chair. "But you can answer my question. Why did you leave us? You said you wouldn't." She sighed and sat down.
"I had to leave I got pulled into basic training. I didn't get the chance to say good bye or anything. Once I was there they shipped me over to Afghanistan. When I got back a few years ago you weren't there so I moved on. Nobody would tell me where you went." She fidgeted with her hands.
"I was eight months pregnant when you left. I was so mad at you that I had Henry two weeks early. Luckily he made it. But goddamn that boy acts just like you do even though you're not genetically related." I scowled at her.
"May I see him?" I sighed but contemplated.
"He's going with me to Paris you can meet him then."Part 2 coming up
