It had been a few weeks sense I had gone to lunch with the Mills sisters. Zelena and I go to lunch every other day together but I haven't seen Regina sense.
I was getting ready to leave work when an arm crossed my path.
"Leaving work early Swan?" I rolled my eyes and ducked underneath.
"Go away Mr. Jones I'm not afraid to put a restraint on you if you keep pestering me." I growled heading for the door. She sighed and walked after me.
"I'm not here to pester you I'm here to apologize. Apparently I'm not that great at it." I stopped and turned around to see that he wasn't wearing his suit jacket but other than that he looked like his normal self. Hair short and slicked back. He always had his left ear ring in and a couple rings on his fingers. Reminded me of a groomed pirate.
"No you are not." My tone flat and uninterested.
"At least let me make it up to you by taking you dancing." I pretended to think but decided that a little fun could do me some good.
"Sure when?" And with that we made arrangements for Thursday at seven, for a formal dance.

I was curling my hair when my bedroom door opened and in walked Ruby and Zelena.
"Who is she?" They both gushed.
"Well first of all its not romantic and second it's an apology dance from Killian." I said with and annoyed look.
"You finally agreed to go on a date with him?" Ruby asked disgusted.
"It's not a date I'm going for the fun and the food." Zelena laughed.
"Knew you'd only go anywhere with that pirate for the food." She winked making me scrunch my face in disgust.
"You crude." I mumbled grabbing my floor length red dress. I set it on the vanity and went and pinned my hair up.
"You're the one going to a ball with captain guylinner." Ruby teased.
"Food." I mumbled grabbing the dress. "Help me into this thing if you're going to stay in here while I get dressed.

I arrived at the building and stepped out of the limo Killian sent. He stood beside me wearing a nice suit but his hair wasn't the slicked back business style I knew. It was spiked to the side ish.
"Mi'lady." He said holding his gloved hand out to me. I took it great fully because I didn't want to trip going up the stairs.
"By the way how did you know about this?" I asked as he handed in two tickets.
"Well this a business ball for the company. I was told to bring a partner and I realized that this is exactly the way I wanted to make it up to you because if its business related than it wouldn't count as a date." I rolled my eyes slightly because of the irony.
As we walked into the area of dancers I looked around in awe. So many colors of dresses so many beautiful women. Men weren't to bad but some of the women I could only dream of dancing with. Before we went to far he held up a red eye mask that would twine behind my head.
"Mascaraed." He said walking behind me and placing it on. I smiled my thanks for his help and went to work with his.
We were in the middle of a dance when I noticed a couple. A woman with dark hair wearing a white dress. It hugged her top but flared sparkling to the floor. Her hair had a swan pin in it. Her mask was white lace. The man had his hair parted but was handsome from what I could see before I was twirled.
"That's the Mills youngest Regina and that guy she is dancing with is her cousin." I looked back to my partner to see him smiling gently. "I know." I furrowed my brows but he shrugged innocently.
When the dance ended we walked over to the food table. I had just finished my drink when I was tapped on the shoulder. I turned around but had to look down. There was a boy smiling wearing a sharp tux with his hair combed to the side.
"Would you care to dance?" He asked.
"Depends how old are you?" I teased taking his hand.
"Ten almost eleven." He smirked and guided me to the middle of the dance floor. I had to admit he was a charming little guy.
"So mystery kid. Gotta name?" I asked as he expertly placed his hands where they should be.
"You can call me the author. I'll call you the savior." He smiled. His dark red mask and a small diamond pen (as in the pen you write with) situated on it.
"You like to read?" He nodded.
"And write. I like fairytales. I'm working on one for my mom." I giggled as I ducked down enough to be twirled.
"Oh really? What's it about you've got me hooked." He chuckled.
"The irony. Well if I meet you again Savior I'll bring it for you to read. Just know the savior always saves her queen." I smiled.
"Well author I think I'm going to have to get more than a stage name to meet you next." I winked.
"We'll meet again soon I know it for a fact." I nodded. When the dance ended I curtsied and he bowed before kissing my hand gently.
"Till we meet again." I nodded before walking back over to the captain who had a smirk on his face.
"Cute kid." He said giving me a glass of water.
"Yes indeed. Know him?" I asked. He shook his head.
"Know to many young ones that fit his description."
Instead of walking back to the dance floor we walked around talking to different people till Regina and her cousin walked up.
"Killian so glad you could make it mate." The two men shook hands.
"Robin, Regina this is Swan. Emma." He gestured to me smiling. I shook Robins hand.
"Nice to see you again Emma." Regina said with a flitting smile that disappeared when her mother walked up beside her.
"Mrs. Mills it's a pleasure to see you." I said taking her hand that she out reached.
"Nice to see you too Ms. Swan. I didn't know if you were going to come with Mr. Jones or not." She smiled at him.
"I didn't either but look here I am." We all laughed slightly.
"You've met my daughter Regina? She going to be taking over the company next week." I nodded and kept the older woman's gaze.
"Yes I believe we met the other day in the elevator." After talking about the company Killian and I slipped away and danced.
"Well you have a worse case of it than I thought." He joked.
"Case of what?" I snapped.
"Oh you don't know it yet. Now I thought you and Zelena were together till I found out that you were just great friends but then I saw you and her sister making eyes at each other." He joked spinning me. I glared from behind my mask.
"Whatever." I mumbled.
"See you're not eve' denying it!" He pointed out.
"Look here only an idiot argues with another idiot and I sir am not." I snapped.
