Chapter 12

I couldnt beleive it. What was he doing here?! As i walked by, i couldnt help but stare. As i stood there, feeling horrible, I felt something behind me. It grabbed me by the wheist and pulled me back. I didnt know what was happening. It was all happening very fast. I looked back and saw a guy. He looked like he was 19 or so. I tried to hold back, but he was too strong for me. I knew what was going on. I was going to get raped.

I tried to do the best thing possible, which was scream for help. I tried the first time, but his dirty hand covered my mouth. I tried screaming, but I don't think anybody could hear me. This man was going to a corner, one hand in my mouth and the other yanking me towards it. I tried to think of something and bit his hand. It did not work. I knew I had to try harder and i couldn't let this scared feeling in my stomach take over me. I bit him really hard this time. When he took his hand off, from the pain, I used this chance to scream for help.

"HELP! HELP! Aghhh!" I couldn't finish as the hand was placed back onto my mouth.

That's when everything was too much for me. I started to feel dizzy and everything was a blurr...

"WAKE UP! ALEX!" I heard a voice scream.

I woke up from something shaking me. I tried to open my eyes. It was kind of blurry, but after a second or so everything was clear again.

"Wha... Darren?" I asked not sure of what had just happened.

"Are you okay?" He asked with a scared look on his face

"Yes.. At least I think so... I should be asking YOU that question! What happened?!" As i saw blood on his cheek and a few bruises.

" Well I pretty much got my ass kicked... Trying to help you! That guy could have raped you! What were you thinking..? Coming here!"

"So... I didn't get raped?"

"No! But you almost did! What do you think would have happened if I had not been here!"

"I'm sorry... I won't do it again."

He sighed and helped me up.

"Come on... I'll take you to your house."

We walked towards my house, and got out of the "Death Alley".

I quickly noticed something... That girlfriend of his wasn't here.

"Where's... That girl you were hanging out with the other day..?"

"She went home after you screamed for help. Or maybe she went to hook up with someone else.. I dunno. Why?"

"Just curios... Why do you hang out with her anyways? She seems like a bitch. Are you two dating? Because if you were... I would tell you to watch out. She seems like someone who could break your heart. Is she your girlfriend?"

I noticed that I had said too much. What was I thinking? It isn't any of my buisness..

"Well no, not anymore anyways. Ya... She was no good for me... What way?"

"Right." As i pointed the way to my house

We walked in silence. I suddenly felt his hand close to mine. I did not know what to do, but before I could do anything, he cupped his hand in mine. Our hands came toghether perfectly. Like a puzzle piece.

After five minutes of walking and holding hands, I noticed that we were here.

"Okay. Well this is it." I said.

As I began to hug him goodbye, he leaned in and soon, his lips fell crashing onto mine.
