Chapter 11: A Precious Gift

My friend? "I asked confused"
Yeah. He's Korean. "He said scratching his head"
Omo...could it be...Charlie?! "Yoly asked surprised"
Waaaa, it's been so long since the last time we saw Charlie. "Sofie said smiling"
When was the last time? "Sonya asked"
Well...at Keylana's brother funeral. "Paul said with a sad look"
Can you tell him to come here manager Sung? "Rae asked happy"
Sure. "He said smiling"
The girls started to out makeup up on, while I was reading Chanyeol's book on a chair with my shin on my hand. The door opened and someone came inside.
Charlie Oppa!! "The girls shouted running to him"
Charlie was a friend we used to have when my brother was around. He was my brother's best friend, he also was the first one to get the notice that my brother died in the war. Charlie always has been a great friend to us, he showed us the korean language, culture and traditions, and also introduced us the k-pop. He's two years older than me, he has Chanyeol's age...and also...my brother's age if he would still be alive.
Hey girls! I've missed you all! "He said happy hugging all of the girls" You all worked very hard out there! I'm proud of you!
But Oppa! Where have you been?! "Mary asked"

"I stood up from the chair and head to him with a smile" Charlie, annyeong. It's been so long.
Of course it has been so long. "He said smiling" By the way...girls...may I have a private time with...Keylana? "He asked shy"

They all had wierd and pissed off looks. They left and now was he and me, alone.
Do you have something to tell me? "I asked confused"
Um...Before your brother left to the Army Service, he went to me. He said that he was afraid that something bad would happen to him and you would be alone. He said he believed that you would finally make your dream come true. "He chuckled with watery eyes" Um..he left you something. He gave me something he wanted you to have when you finally get to sing infront of thousand of people. He said, I'm sure Keylana will follow her dream of being a singer. She told me that she got accepted to SM ENTERTAINMENT in South Korea. You're here but I know you'll move soon to South Korea. If you go to her first concert and listen her singing, please give her this. He gave me something that I must give you. "He showed me a box" Take it. "He handed it to me"
I grabbed it. It was decorated by him...my brother. I smiled with a sigh and tears were starting to fall. I slowly touched the box's cover. It looked so beautiful.
Charlie...gomawo. "I said trying to smile but my tears didn't let me to"
Aww, don't cry. "He hugged me sniffing" I miss him too.
When the concert was done. We all head to the bus, I wa holding the box in my hands, without open it yet.
What's that? "Chanyeol asked with a smile"
I still don't know. "I said" But I'll find out soon. "I smiled a bit"
I see. "He said curious" By the way, Keylana.
Hm? "I asked looking at him"
You sang up there amazing. "He whispered"
I blushed a bit.
I really mean it. I think you had fun, and I did too. "He said happy"
I did have fun. "I said smiling" Thanks for helping me Chanyeol. I really owe you a lot. I feel so stupid that I don't know what would make you feel happy but take in mind that I'm really thankful to you. You- "he cut me off"
Yah, the only thing you owe me, it's a dinner with me. "He whispered in my ear and then looked at me with his cute smile"
Dinner? With you? "I asked scratching my head"
"He nod" Let's eat dinner together somewhere. Remember, you have to pay for everything. "He whispered and I chuckled" Promise?
Promise. "I said happy"
By the way... "He cleared his throat" I saw a guy, later. Was he someone special? "He asked curious"
Well, if my brother's best friend is something special, I think that would be a yes. "I said looking at the box" His name is Charlie, he was my brother's childhood friend.
Is that so? Did he gave you that? "He asked looking at the box"
Ne. But actually...it was from my brother, he wanted him to give it to me. "I said looking at the window"
Your brother? "He asked with a pity tone"
Ne... "I said without facing him"
I really was curious about what was inside the box. I wanted to open it so badly.
When we arrived to the hotel, our manager wanted us to take a bath, put our pijamas on, and then go to the lobby. He wanted to say some stuff to us with snacks and a surprise. The girls and I took a bath and put normal pijamas with long warm pants and winter shirts on, with a jacket. I placed my box on my bed and head to my mirror. I don't even know why I was looking at myself through it, I felt wierd.
Did Charlie Oppa give you this? "Sofie asked grabbing my box"
What's inside? "Shaly asked heading to Sofie"
Open it. "Yoori said curious"
They were trying to open it. I could see them through the mirror. I sighed and grabbed the box, they all looked at me upset.
Sorry guys but...it's something that I would like to be the first one to find out what it is... "I said hoping they wont get pissed off"
Did Charlie Oppa give us something too? "Sonya asked"
Um...I really don't know... I hope so. "I said with a tiny smile"
Keylana. "Rae said and I looked at her" Why you didn't tell us you sing? "She asked serious and crossing her arms"
I looked down, with a worried face, holding my box. I sighed and kept doing what I was doing.
Rae Eonnie's right. You've never told us before that you have that talent. "Sofie said upset"
Yah, aren't you going to answer the damm question? Why didn't you tell us?! "Rae shouted heading to me and I looked at her"
I sighed and kept getting ready.
We all head to the lobby and sat on some couches that were placed for us. We sat on them and the boys did too. Everyone were smiling, laughing, being happy about the concert.
All right guys! Listen! I want to tell you all that you did more than a great job. Girls, you killed it. The fans were going crazy. And also... "He looks at me" Keylana, you did an amazing job with Chanyeol. The judges want you to keep singing and performing! They also want you to write the song we talked abo- "Mary cut him off"
Wait! Judges? What is he talking about, Keylana? "She asked confused"
What does he mean by judges? "Rae asked serious"
I looked at him and he gave me a "Sorry..." look. I didn't know what to say.
Listen...the thing is that I- "Chanyeol cut me off"
She tripped with the judges and accidentally they confused her with another singer. Also, it was just for a day. "He said trying to save me" Right, Keylana?
I didn't replied, I just looked down, as I always do when I want to run away from the problem.
Nevermind! Hehe! Guys! I have a big news! Fans want a fan meeting with all of you! "Our manager said happy"

I waited for everyone to fall asleep. I got up from my bed without being noticed, and head to the lobby with my box. I was going to find out what was inside. I head to the party room so I'd be alone and relaxed from this awful day. I sat on the floor and started at the box, decorated by my brother Sam. I took a big breath and slowly opened it. I was already tearing up, even though I just opened it. I didn't want to ruin that decoration. Inside was a video tape, a letter, and also a picture of us, when I was more little. I of course started reading the letter first.
