Chapter 7

Wes was just starting the video,
"Guys to address the current rumors about the two special ladies in my life, please welcome, Nikki," as I pop out "and Sydney," as Sydney pops out "my very best friends" as he puts an arm around you both.

"And now the rest of them," as everyone else pops out.

"Hello guys, my name is Tina woods. And today we're doing the yoga challenge olympics, I am joined with Christian, enya, Jamie, them," she pointed to me, syd and Wes "and that" as she points to drew, laughing.

We all wrapped up the video. Me and Wes got none of the ridiculous poses but laughed about everything. Enya and Jamie won.

Tomorrow~

Me, syd, and rosemary sat backstage all day while the m&g went on. She's really nice and we all bonded. The concert was starting and Wes wrapped up his performance and all three of us clapped and were so proud of him.

He was about to get off the stage when he goes,

"Oops, almost forgot." as he pulls down a white screen. 

A clip plays and I instantly notice it as the clip I took of syd singing.

The crowd goes silent and listens as an angelic voice sings. Sydney tenses next to me and I link my arm around her. She whispered in my ear harshly

"Nikki. What the hell?" The video stops playing and Wes rolls up the screen.

"So you guys like that" he references to the clip. The crowd goes wild.

"Would you guys prefer a live performance?" Syd knew where this was going and I latched even harder on to her.

The crowd demanded a yes.

"Well lucky for you guys, my friend Sydney is here today with her voice lovely as ever...get up here sydie!"

I pushed Sydney up on stage while she fought me on it and Wes grabbed her. She hid behind Wes while tears brewed in her eyes. She tried to run off stage but Wes and I grabbed her.

We picked her up and placed her on stage.

"I can't do it" she whispered weakly.

"Syd, I know something great can come out of this...please?" When she was finally stable I walked off stage. Leaving the rest to Wes.

She faced him and he rubbed her arms and whispered something to her. He started singing "lay me down" by Sam smith.

Soon, she was singing her part too and their voices sounded great together. I smiled at my accomplishment and my best friends together.

By the end of the song everyone started chanting 'wesney' as a ship name for Wesley and Sydney.

Syd walked off the stage and immediately ran to me to give me a hug,

"thank you so much, I love you."

"It's your talent, I just helped get you here" as I gave her a wink.

Later that day~ 

"Syd, Wes. Look!" I pulled out my phone to show them that the #1 trending hashtag on Twitter was '#wesney'.

All of you laughed. Wes left to go to his room, Tina and enya were out with the rest of the boys.

Syd and I were alone.

"Syd?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you like Wes?"

"Nikki, no. I have nick."

"You guys are so cute" I faced her.

"I know" she smiled and fell asleep.

I wasn't tired yet, so I walked across the hall, careful not to wake Sydney up and knocked on wes' door.

"Well hello there" Cody Ryle said with his country accent.

"Is Wes there? I'm bored and can't fall asleep"

"No, but he'll be back soon.. He went out with rose to catch up. Come on in. Me, Tina, enya, Christian and mike are just chillin."

I walked in and sat next to enya. Wes came in About 10 mins later with rosemary behind him. Rose came over, grabbed my hand and y'all walked down to the lobby.

She sits me down and puts her hand on my arm.

"Listen.. I can't be there for him anymore like I used to. He's all I have, he's my bestfriend and I love him with everything in me. He has you and syndey now. I just want to know that you'll be there and look out for him, like I would."

"Of course, we'll do that for you. Listen, rose you're still his bestfriend and we can never replace that. I love him too and I want what's best for him. I appreciate you not hating me" I laughed.

"I think you're really good for him, ya know?"

"You think so?" I asked, smiling to myself.
