When I got in my mothers car, her caring about Wes came into play too.

"Is Wesley okay?" She asked adoringly

"I have no clue, he sounded upset."

"Well you're here now, let me know what happens."

I walked in the house, not caring to knock, since my his happiness was at stake. Wes is the most important person to me.

Sarah was home and must have known why I was there because she simply looked at me and nodded her head in the direction of Wes' bedroom.

I walked in a saw a distressed Wes sitting in the corner of his room.

I ran over to him and crouched down to his level. He looked up at me with sad eyes.

I hugged him and tried to radiate my love to him.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked, not caring about the pet name I just called him by.

"I just want to be good enough." He croaked out.

I knew where this was going. Wes is the type of person that will destroy himself to make other people happy. He never feels like he's good enough, even when he's more than enough.

I don't know why but I got angry.

"Wes, look at me right now." I said sternly

He looked at me. I grabbed onto his shoulders.

"You're more than enough, you fucking bend over backwards to make people happy, so don't sit here and fucking tell me you're not good enough,"

I huffed, getting more passionate about my speech as it went on,

"YOU...you have saved people's lives. Do you understand me? Do you hear me? YOURE THE REASON PEOPLE ARE LIVING!"

I shook his shoulders as I spoke.

Wes gets panic attacks often but lately I think the pressures getting to him because he gets so many, so badly.

"I know, but I don't feel good enough. It's all just a little too much, I need a break but I could never tell them that, they'd be heartbroken."

I sat down next to him, and crossed my legs.

"You need to put yourself first for once, you're so set on making them happy that you've forgotten about what is in YOUR best interest, set aside your supporters needs. What does Wesley need?" I reasoned.

"A break." He admitted which I know was hard for him.

"Then you take that, now THEY owe you that much."

We sat in silence for a while, then I had an idea to ease his mind.

"Let's go for a drive?" I offered

"Funny how you ask that, yet it'll be me driving because you can't yet." He laughed and poked my sides.

"Yup, sure is funny, let's go." I poke his nose and held my hands out to help him up.

He grabbed my hands but pulled me down onto his lap instead. Our faces were inches apart, but I was too scared to break the distance so I sat there.

He leaned in and I sat still, scared out of my mind for anything other than friendly contact.

He whispered in my ear,

"Last one to the car pays for whatever were doing."

Then he got up and pushed me down while he ran.
