Four letters all sent to four distinct people each of them with very different personalities...

October 17

All of the people happened to be free that day and all of them desperately wanted to see the rich philanthropist for the first time. The man rarely left his house and got little to no publicity so it was a great honor to meet such a man. His name was Victor Heaves, the sole heir to the 1.5 billion dollar birthright of his late father Charles Heaves.

There were many rumors of him having mental issues. A crazed, rich, sociopath some called him. And that is what caught Sara Boufant's attention. She was an investigative journalist and for the last 15 years of her career she had become obsessed with trying to learn about the enigmatic Mr. Heaves. When she got the invitation she knew it was an offer she couldn't resist, the scoop of a lifetime, and cancelled all of her plans for that Thursday so that she could attend.

René Jean-Claude was an older man that had worked with the Heaves' in the past. He hadn't left the family on good terms which is why the older man was shocked to see the invitation. Perhaps time heals wounds, he thought as he read it for the second time. Grease stains from the old mechanic's hands stained the crisp white business card that contained the information. Maybe this isn't a truce, but an opportunity so that he may take revenge on me, he pondered yet again. Either way he would never find out unless he attended. With that, he cleaned off his hands and checked off the line that signaled his being able to attend.

The amount of money Victor had was astonishing to Ekatrina Kuznetsova. She had always led a lavish life off of her own birthright. However, due to recent times she was short on money. At least I still have my looks, she thought as she looked at herself if the mirror. Her long blonde hair framed smooth skin and soft features. Her eyes were hazel colored. Looking down at the invitation she recognized the name, Victor Heaves, as one of the richest men in the country, not to mention dashingly handsome. "Maybe, if I am able to seduce him he would be more than happy buy me something nice with his 'considerable' amount of money" she mumbled to herself. With a slight giggle she promptly checked the "Will Attend" line.

James Leto, a cop, and a "damn good one" according to his friends. Had worked with the Heaves' family for some time and in his 8 years of working with them he had learned quite a bit about Victor. They had even played golf together once or twice. However, while Victor saw them as acquaintances, James wanted to be much more than 'just friends' with Victor. Upon receiving the invitation at his office he figured that it would be a good time to make his move. Hastily he checked 'will attend' and told his boss that he would be missing work that Thursday.
