Show #8 - The Sun and a Rainbow

** Note from author: I want to sincerely apologize for not updating sooner. Hence, why I released many chapters at once. I didn't think this fanfic would be receiving so much support! I'm currently going into my last year of nursing school. It was pretty tough last semester. Hence why I haven't updated. I will try to update as much as I can. I'm much more motivated to write thanks to everyone's support. Many thanks to Show By Love supporters! You guys are awesome! Now back to the story!

Carrying her lunch tray, Cyan joined the table Plasmagica sat at at the cafeteria. Crow followed behind, his tray heavy with 3 cartons of milk. His grin was wide as he thought about the possibility of growing inches taller. The cafeteria was filled with students. Many nearby Plasmagica's table chattering about the mysterious new students in hushed voices. Plasmagica minded their own business talking to one another.

Moa gestured, "Over here Cyan!!"

Cyan set her tray down and left a seat open beside her for Crow. Crow happily sat down.

Cyan cleared her throat, "So guys, I have a request."

Chuchu giggled, "Why so formal Cyan! Go ahead. What is it?"

"Do you think we can go back to your world? Even if it's just for a little bit?"

Chuchu looked at the others, puzzled. Retoree's eyebrows were crossed and Moa sat quietly.

Cyan flinched, "Is that a no?"

Chuchu sighed, "Cyan we just got here. You really want to head back?"

Cyan stammered. She opened her mouth to speak but Crow quickly spoke.

"I need to talk to my band members." Crow took a sip from his milk carton and avoided eye contact with the others.

Chuchu stared sternly at crow for a few moments.

Retoree spoke up, "Hey I think it's a good idea.. The more people to help Cyan and to improve their talent, the easier it is to beat those monsters back home."

Cyan's eyes gleamed, "Retoree ~"

Retoree smiled at Cyan in response.

"Okay," Chuchu smiled. "She has a point. But when did you want to go?

Cyan gave her best look and pleaded, "Toniiight?"

"We have school tomorrow?!" Chuchu scolded.

Crow started coughing from his milk, "O-Oh yah.. I forgot..."

Cyan flinched, "I-I forgot too..."

Chuchu crossed her arms, "You two?! I know we have to improve our musical abilities but that also means we have to keep school a priority. At least for Cyan!"

Crow whined, "Ehhh.. Me too??"

Chuchu slammed her hand on the table, "YES! YOU TWO!"

Moa laughed, "Chuchu is such a mother figure!!"

"We have to be an example for Cyan! So she can improve musically and educationally?!" Chuchu continued.

Crow sighed, "Okay okay.. So that means we can't go tonight." He set his milk carton down. "Maybe the weekend then. For now we'll just focus on studying and practicing."

Cyan nodded, "We do have a test on Friday after all-"

"WHAT?! Already?!" Crow was appalled.

Plasmagica and Cyan giggled together.
