Show #10 - A Flame that Went Out

Cyan hummed as she walked towards the hotel that Crow and Shu were staying at. She had sent a text to Crow earlier that it would be best that they study at their hotel room since it was already so crowded at her place. She eagerly wanted the girls to tag along however, they insisted she be the one helping Crow out. She replayed the scene in her head:

"Oh Cyan ~ You should go on your own! We're really good at math already ~" Chuchu chimed.

Moa gave her a look, "We are-"

Retoree nudged Moa's shoulder.

"Oh we are!!!" Moa let out a nervous laugh.

Cyan focused back to the present and let out a sigh. It would've been great if everyone studied together. Cyan stopped walking when tinted glass caught the corner of her eye. She turned to see a cute European styled bakery towering over her. A lightbulb lit up in her head.

"I'll bring Crow and Shu some cake!" Cyan gasped.

Crow gritted his teeth, "Where is she?" He sat lazily on the lounge chair in the hotel room.

Shu flipped a page in his book, "Give her some time Hedgehog. She's a lady after all."

Crow mumbled under his breath. Too inaudible for Shu to hear. He had tried his best to get Shu out of the room for the evening but once Shu admitted how determined he was to get Shu out, Shu insisted he stay. Shu even threatened to throw away all the milk cartons in the fridge to admit who was coming over.

Crow sat up straight, "I'll give you 10 bucks if you leave."

"No can do." Shu waved his finger, not taking his eyes off from his book.

Crow crossed his arms, "Just so you know. Cyan said herself that it was just her and I studying. End of story. So no funny business Fox."

"Nooo promises ~" Shu smiled behind his book.

Crow opened his mouth to argue but the sound of a light knock on the door distracted him. He eagerly ran up to the door and he smiled with his teeth at the sight of Cyan at the door.

"Cyan! You're late!" Crow scolded playfully as he bonked his fists lightly against Cyan's forehead.

Cyan blushed, "I-I'm sorry. I wanted to get something for you guys!" Cyan held out a large box.

Crow peered into the window on top of the box and at the sight of the chocolate cake, he beamed.

"Chocolate?! My favourite!" Crow took the box from Cyan's hands and placed it on the table in the middle of the room.

Shu placed his book down and walked towards Cyan, "That's very nice of you Neko-chan. Should I make some tea to go with it?"

Cyan's face went flush when Shu looked directly at her. She was still flustered from the kiss yesterday and she wasn't sure how to communicate with Shu.

Stammering and brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, Cyan nodded. "Y-Yes. That would be nice. Are you going to study with us too Shu?"

Crow shot his head back at Shu and made a letter X with his arms without Cyan looking. Shu caught a glimpse of Crow and he turned back to Cyan smiling.

"I'd love to spend time with you Neko-chan." Shu was glowing. He headed towards the small kitchenette in the hotel room to prepare the tea.

Crow covered his face with his hand. Cyan watched Shu as he walked further from her. His figure was gone in an instant as there was a wall separating the kitchenette and the main living room.
