Show #9 - Opening One's Eyes

After school, Cyan, Plasmagica and Crow sat inside the music room together. Cyan and her band members played music together while Crow gave some tips and tricks for the members. As much as Cyan tried her best to focus, her mind was drawn elsewhere. She couldn't stop thinking about Shuzo and his kiss. His plead for Cyan's attention echoing in her mind.

"Hoooy ~" Crow bonked Cyan's forehead lightly with his knuckles, "Focus Cyan. You want to get better don't you?"

Cyan's eyes flickered up to Crows, "Y-Yes! I'm sorry!"

The Plasmagica members looked at one other with concerned looks on their faces.

Chuchu stood beside Cyan and placed her hand on her shoulder, "Cyan, we can call it a day. It'll just be a waste of our time if Cyan can't gather her thoughts together and we try to move on. I think we all need a break. It's been a long day."

Cyan stammered, "But-"

Retoree shook her head, "Cyan you rest up. We can practice another day."

"We will give it our all next day yah?!" Moa added.

Cyan nodded, "Okay guys. Thank you. You guys go on ahead home. Tell my mom I'll be home soon. I'll maybe just take a walk around the school or something."

Plasmagica quietly left the room, Crow slowly following them.

Cyan placed her pink guitar down, propped the window open and felt the breeze blow on her face. She sighed. Her feelings for Shu weren't clear to her yet. All this confusion was distracting her from her goal of becoming a better vocalist and guitarist. It was making her very concerned.

Cyan scanned the music room filled with instruments. She picked up an acoustic guitar and she set a chair in front of the window and sat down. She took a deep breath and started singing her favourite song she had sung with her band members, "Ryuusei Dreamline". Instead a slower, acoustic version to herself. She was frightened but as she started singing, her worries melted away. She wasn't sure what her feelings were for Shuzo at the moment. She wasn't sure if she was ready for love. But her love for music and for performing was clear. At least she wasn't afraid to open her heart to singing or playing guitar.

Crow leaned his back against the music room door. Cyan's band members had left and his excuse was that he left his guitar pick in the music room. He listened to Cyan carefully. He admitted that there were still some things she could work on but he was certain that the feelings she put into the song were sincere. Crow leaned his head back and shut his eyes. Familiar with the song (hearing Plasmagica practice it over and over), he sung along quietly with Cyan. The sound of their voices in sync warmed Crow's heart and eased his mind. He peeked into the small window leading to the music room. Cyan looked angelic with the breeze blowing gently against her hair. The white translucent curtains behind her danced, mimicking feathery wings. Little did he know, as he grew more passionate about singing with Cyan, the louder he sang. Suddenly the music stopped and the door opened behind him.

"W-Whoa?!" Crow nearly stumbled.

Cyan's face was bright red as she looked up at Crow, "C-Crow?! I thought you were back at your hotel?! Y-You heard me?!"

"W-Well yeah! Hey you were doing pretty good," Crow placed his hand on the top of Cyan's head, petting her, "Few blips here and there. But good." Crow grinned widely.

Cyan pouted, "K-Kay. Well then show me where I went wrong."

Crow headed towards the row of acoustic guitars and chose a jet black acoustic guitar with gold strings, "Fancy."

He pulled up a chair besides Cyan and sat down, placing the guitar's body on his lap.

"Sing with me."
