The reverberating snarls coming from Crow's muzzle didn't phase Cyan. Crow stopped struggling and stood still glaring at Cyan. She stood in place, sure of her love for Crow. She was sure of how much she missed him. How much she yearned to see him, his usual self, again.

"I don't love Shu! He may have kissed me, but I felt nothing!" Cyan declared.

Crow barked back. Cyan swore she could hear Crow's voice echo in her head, "LIAR!"

Cyan felt a sting in her chest but she ignored it and kept up her strength, "I mean it Crow! You're the only one I think about! When I'm with you, I feel so happy. I feel at home. Even when you're not with me... You're the only one on my mind!"

Crow stood still listening. Rom, Aion and Yaiba strengthened their grip as Crow leaned forward. Cyan took a deep breath.

"I LOVE YOU CROW! With all my heart! It hurts me to think about not spending my days with you! I want to sing and play guitar with you! I want you to be by my side! I want to always see you smile!! I-I know I have a lot to learn still... But I want you to see me grow as a musician!! I want you to see me shine and maybe... hopefully..." Cyan stopped and she stared deeply in to Crow's large eyes.

Plasmagica, Trichronika and Shingancrimsonz watched in anticipation.

Cyan raised her voice, "Hopefully... You can love me too?!"

She shut her eyes tight, unsure of how the beast in front of her would react. The beast was silent and Cyan's world was dark for a few moments as she kept her eyes closed.

"Shit!" Rom's cursed loudly, breaking the silence as he lost grip on the rope.

Yaiba and Aion also lost their grip, angered at how suddenly Crow broke free from the restraint. The rope quickly unraveled. Crow leaped up, ready to pounce on Cyan.

Plasmagica yelled frightened, "CYAN!!!"

Shu gasped, "NEKO-CHAN!" Riku and Kai shared terrified looks.

Cyan quickly opened her eyes, she felt powerless as Crow's giant figure projected towards her. But before Cyan could let out a scream, a bright white light blinded her and Cyan couldn't help but close her eyes again.

——

Heaven... I'm in heaven? Cyan wondered to herself. The light grew softer behind Cyan's eyelids. Considering how suddenly warm she felt, she was afraid to open her eyes to an afterlife.

"Cyan..."

Cyan peeked through her eyelashes, looking down at familiar arms that she yearned to be caressed by. Cyan could smell the scent of lavendar, with a hint of a spicy scent she couldn't quite name. Long black and red strands of hair tickled Cyan's nose. When Cyan looked up, she was eye level with Crow, and she felt welcomed by his ruby eyes. She was home. Though only a few inches away from his face, Cyan didn't draw back. She wanted to stay like this. Close to him.

Crow grinned and he smirked, "I already love you silly. I have for a long time now." His low, husky voice made Cyan's heart flutter. Almost as if she had not heard his voice in ages.

Cyan gasped for air, ecstatic that her feelings were returned. Her cheeks glowed bright pink and tears formed at the corners of her eyes like dew drops. Her heart was loud with every beat, her fingers still slightly trembling from her encounter with Crow's haunting form. Crow slid his long fingers through Cyan's and together, they clasped their hands. Cyan's hands stopped trembling, Crow's soft hand comforting her. Cyan's mouth curled into a smile captivating smile.

"You look like an angel." Crow grinned back, the bright and playful grin Cyan loved.

Cyan had almost forgotten about her blue fairy-like attire. The chiffon material shining more white than blue, reflecting the light around them. The sun was shining on the roof-top and the sky was again pastel blue.

"Thank you." Crow held Cyan close to him.

Cyan again was breathless. She could feel Crow's broad chest and shoulders, his fingers intertwined with her curly dark hair. His other hand wrapped tightly around Cyan's waist. His chest was against hers, and she could feel their hearts- Loud. Hurried. But in sync.

Crow faced Cyan, his face flushed red. "M-May I..." Crow's eyes were drawn to Cyan's lips.

Without hestitation, Cyan was on her tip-toes. She pulled herself up, holding onto Crow's shoulders and kissed him. Crow's eyes shot wide open in surprised, but soon his face settled at how lush Cyan's kiss felt. Cyan could feel Crow's soft and gentle kiss, although her eyes were closed, it felt like the world around her was a kaleidoscope surrounded by beautiful shapes and colors. The butterflies in her stomach beat their gem-colored wings aggressively in her stomach, as Crow pulled her closer.

The girls behind Cyan clapped and cheered. The Shingancrimsonz members whistled from down below. Shu looked at Crow and Cyan from the distant roof top, thankful that the battle was over. Thankful about the outcome.

As Crow and Cyan pulled away, Cyan giggled. "Let's go home Crow."

Crow kept holding Cyan close to him and he smiled at her lovingly, "Mhmm. Let's go."

Shu woke up to the sliver of light peeking through the window's curtains above him the next morning. He looked at the ceiling and looked to one side of the room. Judging by the empty beds beside him and the rows of medications lined up in a locked glass shelf, he was in the recovery room at a hospital. The last thing he could remember was Cyan being worried for him after she and Crow had their moment. Before Shu could reply back to her, he had fainted. They must have helped him to the hospital. He felt a light weight on his other side. He turned his head to the other side, greeted by the sight of long blonde hair shining in the morning sun.

Retoree sat beside the bed, she was leaning forward sound asleep. Her arms cradeling her head as she slept beside Shu's waist. He placed his hand gently on Retoree's head, entranced by her serene look and long blonde lashes. In her hand, he saw that she was holding the silver cherry blossom bracelet that he had given to Cyan.

Retoree's eyes fluttered open, "Nnn... Shu?"

Shu jumped in surprise, pulling back his hand. He wasn't sure why his heart raced so fast at that moment, why his face suddenly grew hot.

Retoree stood up straight, "O-Oh. Sorry Shu. Riku and Kai went out to grab some of your things. The others went shopping. They asked me to keep an eye on you."

Suddenly Retoree hid her hands behind her back, hoping Shu didn't see the bracelet in her hands. She was hoping that the bracelet would bring Shu luck, that he'd have a fast recovery. And it worked, she was thankful for that. Thankful to Cyan for giving her such a charm.

Shu took her arm and took the bracelet from her hand.

Retoree was flustered, "U-Uh! Cyan-"

Retoree froze as Shu held onto the bracelet's clasp. He carefully wrapped the bracelet around Retoree's wrist. The bracelet glimmered and hugged Retoree's wrist, Retoree's cheeks turning pink.

"It suits you well." Shu whispered to her, looking down at the bracelet.

He looked up at her and smiled. Retoree smiled back bashfully.

Shu peered at the card on his nightstand, for a quickly drawn picture of Cyan's face caught his eye.

Shuzo, Thank you for all your help. You deserve a restful sleep. We are all hoping for your speedy recovery. Feel better real soon! The card read in Cyan's cursive writing.

Shuzo stared at the card then back at Retoree's shy face.

"I feel better already." Shuzo thought to himself.
