Taeyeon's POV:

The fireworks is amazing.
I only see one when it's on tv, but never in real life.
I was mesmerized, I just had to take pictures of it.
Baekhyun was watching it with a warm smile.
I took my camera and focused it on him.
Then I took a picture of Baekhyun, without him knowing.
I looked at the picture and smiled to myself.
He's really handsome.

Then I thought about him without his shirt on again.
He makes me act stupid sometimes.
Especially his six pack, that's distracting me.
"Come with me."
Baekhyun takes my hand and dragged me to the parking lot.
There were some people there with blankets, cuddling.
Oh no, I hope we're not doing this.
And that's when he spreads out a blanket and sat down.
I did as well.
He offered me a can of beer, but I rejected it.
I hate alcohol.

"Taeyeon, I have a question for you."
I think he's nervous to ask me.
Just by the uneasy look on his face.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
He's so cute, why would that question make him act like that.
I shook my head and smiled at him.
I really don't have one, but is he planning on asking me out?
He seemed relieved.
"I mean-I don't have a girlfriend."
No way. He's so attractive and hot. He should have one by now.
"I guess we're both single."

He pulled my blouse to cover my shoulders.
Why would he do that?
I just giggled and continued to stare at him.
The fireworks is still going. And I can hear people shouting "Happy 4th of July!"
Then I heard the music playing again.
I ignored that because Baekhyun is sitting so close to me.
I'm only paying attention to him.

"I was wondering...if you're free tomorrow."
He asked me while his face got even closer to mine.
"Are you asking me out?"
That was a stupid question. But I'm glad he didn't laugh.
"Well, yeah."
I pretended to think about it. But I'm just playing with him.
"I am free. Where will we meet?"
I don't think I even have his number. So I decided to ask him.
"Oh yeah! I was about to ask you that."
We exchanged phone numbers.
Then we both sighed and continued to watch the fireworks.

He pulled me closer to him by putting his arm around my shoulder.
I looked at him with a meaningful expression.
Baekhyun seemed to be holding back from something.
"C-Can I kiss you?"
I giggled, then I bit my lip from nervousness.
I've never kissed anyone before.
I'm pretty sure that he had a lot of experience.
What if he thinks I'm not good at it?
My thoughts went away when I felt his lips against mine.
Seriously?! He didn't even give me any warning.
I bet I looked so stupid.

Baekhyun's POV:

My mind keeps telling me no, but my heart is the opposite.
I think she's still thinking about my question.
Why did I even ask her that?
And then she bit her lip.
Whenever she does it, it kills me.
I lost control of myself.
That's why I just did it right there with no regrets.
I'm a man after all, it's not my fault.

Her eyes went wide, but her lips are so soft and sweet.
I think she was surprised.
The fireworks both scared us, and we pulled away from the kiss.
It went by too quick. Her lips are just so addicting....
I need more of it.

But, I don't think she feels the same way.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what came into me."
I really hope she understands.
"I-It's f-fine."
She's so adorable when she stutters.
In fact her in general.
Everything about her is so perfect.
"Taeyeon, I really like you."

When I thought it was the worst day of my life on that rainy day, she came to me like a miracle.
I never believed in that saying; love at first sight. But now I actually do because of Kim Taeyeon.

I'm not scared of a rejection. Because if she does say no then I'm still going to keep trying my best to make her mine. No matter what. I won't give up on her.

"I don't know what to say."
I have no idea what that meant. Does she like me or not?
I can tell that she's getting uncomfortable.

"It's ok. I don't need the answer now. I can wait."
No I can't. I have no patience.
But from what I said, she smiled sincerely.
"Thank you."
