Well... That Was Dramatic!

Haru POV:

Rin walks into the bedroom with 5 people trailing him. 5!!! God dammit. I know all of them too! "Why?! Why when I'm in this state?!" Is all I can think at the moment.

"Why're you guys all here?" Gou, or Kou I guess, was the one to answer.

"We were a little worried because you skipped practice twice. So we came to check on you and make sure you were okay. Then as the four of us were walking here, we ran into Nitori-kun and decided to bring him along because he couldn't find Onii-Chan."

I looked at Rin. I'd completely forgot about practice! And Rin hadn't checked back at the dorm in a few days! He's gonna be in trouble with his captain. And it's because of me! At least he doesn't have classes right now...

"Well... He definately doesn't look sick. Rin, are you sure?"

I blinked, confused by Rei's question, and Rin just looked at me.

"What? Since when have I been sick? Why didn't I know about it?"

"Umm... Haru, that was supposed to keep them out of here. You just blew our cover!" He whispers to me and I just replied in a normal tone.

"No one was fooled anyways." I shake my head and look down.

"Matsuoka-Senpai? Nanase-San? What's going on?" Nitori seemed curious, yet a little scared to know what we were talking about.

"Should you tell them or should I?" Rin asked.

I took a deep breath, and nodded to him.

"We're dating." He flat out said it!

"WHAT?!" Was the answer coming from all five mouths of our friends.

"Haru-Chan's dating Rin-Chan?! I knew something was up!" (Nagisa)

"Haruka-Senpai is dating Onii-Chan?! Since when! I need details!" (Gou/Kou)

"Rin-San and Haruka-Senpai?! Together?!! I definately hadn't considered that option..." (Rei)

Three of the 5 were rambling and screeching, while Makoto and Nitori just stood there. At the foot of the bed. Gaping mouths. Uh, oh....

The room went silent.

"What? Haru? But... why?"

"Because I love him, Makoto. That's all there is to it." He looks utterly devastated. Shiiiit...

"I... I should have known you would go for someone like him." He spat the words with fire in his eyes.

"Excuse you? What the hell do you mean by that?!" Rin's eyes flash and his brow furrows.

"An unreliable, antisocial, abandoning, dirtbag! That's what I mean by that, Rin!" Rin twitched and just about lunged at Mako, when I grabbed onto his wrist.

"What?! Did you just say that to me!?"

"When you left for Austrailia, Haru was devastated! You broke him! His eyes lost their sparkle, and replaced it with tears! He screamed every night when he woke from nightmares about you leaving!" That's not true. That's not true!

Rin's eyes turned to me. I shake my head and held his arm with both hands. "Don't listen to him! Don't believe that, Rin! That's not true! Please believe me! I've never, ever thought of you like that!"

His expression hurts my heart. It's a mixture of doubt, pain, and apology. I held his arm tighter. "Please, Rin! Please don't believe that!" He slowly nods and lets out a shaky breath.
