Part 4- Bullies

- NARI'S POV -

The moment I entered school I knew today wasn't going to be good. I was in such a rush to get to the bathroom to clean up my face I didn't even pay attention to where I was going. Stupid me. I should've been more aware of my surroundings because I bumped in to Jong Lee.

She's a half Korean-American jerk that constantly bullies me. You'd think since she wasn't fully Korean she'd get bullied. Actually at one point in time she did, but since then she's picked up the habit of bullying others to protect herself. I was her main target.

I quickly apologized for bumping her and continued running to the bathroom. I prayed she didn't follow me, but of course she did.

"Hey you brat! Can't you watch where you walk?!?" She screamed. I wanted to leave but she had her lame backup girls block the door.

"Don't ignore me!!!" She grabbed a fist full of my hair and yanked my head around.

"Yah! Stop please." I begged, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I'll be careful next time, I promise!!"

"You think your stupid promise is enough?!?!" She yanked my head towards the sink and turned on the water. Next thing I know she pulled my head up not caring that in the process my forehead smacked the sink. My face was shoved under the faucet. "You better watch where you're going, next time I might not be as nice." She and her stupid friends laughed their butts off and left.

I sat of the cold floor with water dripping onto my clothes. I should have just stayed home today like mom said. I slowly stand up and gasp when I see my reflection. My face looked terrible. Not only did I have a gash on my cheek from that boy, but I had a huge blue black bruise forming at my hairline from where I hit the sink. On top of all of that my head started pounding.

I wanted to cry so bad, but I held back the tears. I pulled out my phone and texted mom to come get me. I tied back my hair and grabbed my backpack off the ground. I left the bathroom and walked back out of the school to wait.

Few minutes later....

"Nari! Oh my gosh! What happened to my baby?!?" My mom bolted from the car and ran to me. "Those girls did this again didn't they?!? Didn't they?!?" She was furious.

"Mom it's okay. Can we please leave?" I saw her look towards the school, "Please mom." I whined.

She sighed, "Okay, okay. I'll call the school later." We walked to the car and got in. "We'll go home so you can get cleaned up and change, then we can go look for clothes for tonight if you're up to it."

"Arasseo." She pulled away from the curb and I felt my eyes get heavy.
