Part 22- Are You Okay?

- NARI'S POV-

The next morning I woke up to my whole body being completely sore. So sore it was hard to sit up in bed. 'Mark really pushed my limits with his training'

I groan and rolled over to look out my already opened window. The sun had just started to rise. The sky was colored in hues of burnt orange and fiery red. This was my favorite way to start the day. I laid there until the the sun peeked over the trees. Slowly I sat up and got ready for the day.

After eating breakfast with mom, I picked up my backpack and slipped on my shoes and coat. I opened the door and stepped into the cold air. To my surprise JB was standing in front of my house.

"Good morning" I walked up to him.

"Morning. I thought I'd walk you to school just incase something happened." His voice was muffled under his scarf.

"You didn't have to." I smile and start walking. He followed close behind.

"But I wanted to." He said, barely audible.

We walked in silence. It was kind of weird seeing JB like this. I never would have thought he would want to walk me to school. I didn't know a single person who would willingly want to go anywhere near a high school. Don't get me wrong, I really liked him walking with me, but it was strange.

I glanced back at him. He was looking at his feet in thought.

"Are you okay? You can go home if you want."

He quickly looked up at me, "No, I'm fine. I was just thinking..." He walked ahead of me.

"Are you sure?" I followed him waiting for a reply, but he didn't say another word.

We finally arrived on the same street as my school. JB stopped. I stopped too and turned to him.

"Are you sure you're-" Before I could even finish my sentence I was pulled into a hug. My heart pounded, but I immediately hugged back. Who could say no to a hug from JB?

"Be careful today okay? I'm worried about you." He sighed.

"I'll be okay. I'll use what Mark taught me, don't worry too much." I pulled back and smiled.

His forehead creased at my words. "Pabo" I flicked his head and started to walk away, but before I could take another step I was once again pulled back into JB's arms. This time was different, because next thing I knew his lips brushed against mine. It was soft and warm. Careful too, like he was afraid his gentle kiss would hurt me. Before I could react he pulled away.

He flicked my head back, "You're a pabo too." He smiled and started walking away. I stood on the sidewalk in shock and confused.

"I'll see you later." He waved and turned the corner, disappearing behind an office building.

Reality hit me.

'Jaebum just kissed me....

Jaebum just kissed me!

JAEBUM JUST FREAKIN KISSED ME!!!!'

My eyes widened and I placed my fingers lightly on my lips. My heart was still beating out of control. I clutched at my chest.

'Today was definitely going to be a weird day.'

- JB'S POV-

I turned around the office building and dropped in a squat.

'Damn... What the hell am I doing?'

She probably thinks I'm a creep now. It's just... I don't know....

Ever since yesterday when she called me crying I just couldn't get her out of my head. No matter what I did. I didn't even mean to go to her house. I just did. I definitely didn't mean to kiss her. But her lips were just too tempting.

'What the hell am I doing?' I think and sigh.

I glance around the corner and peek at Nari. She stood there beautifully. I watched her touch her lips and blush. I chuckle to myself and and stand back up. I feel myself smile like a fool, and head back to the dorm to meet up with the other guys.

'Guess she liked the kiss as much as I did.'
