Part 16- Doughnuts

- JACKSON'S POV -

The next morning I woke up around 6:30. I made sure I got up earlier than the guys to get some doughnuts for Nari. I didn't need them bugging me and asking where I was going. I quietly got dressed, grabbed my phone and wallet, and left the dorm. It was freezing!! I huddled deeper into my jacket and ran to the nearest Dunkin Donuts.

- MRS.HYUN'S POV -
(NARI'S MOM)

This morning I woke up around 7:00 with a start, and turned on some space heaters for warmth because it was chilly in the house. Nari was probably cold too, so I quietly took a blanket into her room and covered her up. I gently pushed back her hair to look over her bruise. It was starting to fade, but it was still dark in color. 'I should sue the school..'

I walked back out of her room and went downstairs to call my boss and make some phone calls for work. I decided to work from home when Nari first started to get bullied so I could be available anytime I need to go to the school.

First I decided to make a cup of coffee before I got busy on the phone when I heard a knock at the front door. 'Who is here at 7:15 in the morning?'

I went to the door and opened it. There standing in front of me was Jackson Wang of Got7! A boy from Nari's favorite Kpop group! I screamed and slammed the front door. 'I must be going crazy...'

- NARI'S POV-

I jumped awake when I heard mom scream. I was scared she hurt herself, so I sprinted out of my room and downstairs. She was standing at the door clutching her heart.

"Mom!! What happened?!? Are you okay??" I grabbed her shoulders.

"Nari! I think I'm going crazy!! I thought I saw a boy from Got7 on our porch." She started laughing.

My eyes widened, 'One of the boys is here this early?'

"Let me see mom." I pulled her behind me and opened the door. Lo and behold, Jackson was standing on my porch.

"Um, hi...?" Jackson stepped back.

"What are you doing here?!?" I whispered back.

"I brought you something." He held up a Dunkin Donuts bag and a tray of coffee, "Can I come in?"

"Of course you can." I stepped aside and pulled mom back with me, "Mom, this is Jackson. You probably already know he's from Got7. I met them at the concert and we're friends now. Don't freak out."

"Hello Jackson. Sorry, I really didn't think that was you at my door. You scared me." Mom tried smoothing her hair down.

"It's still early. I can come back a different time if now isn't good?" Jackson started to turn to the door.

"NO!" Mom grabbed his arm, "No, it's fine, come in come in." I shut the door and she led him to the kitchen.

"Nari never has friends over. Stay for a while." She smiled at him and sat him at the table, "I wish I could sit and talk, but I have to get working." She turned to leave.

"Wait! Here's a coffee. I wasn't sure what you guys would like..." Jackson took a cup out of the holder and handed it to her.

"Ooh, thank you!! You are such a gentleman." She smiled and turned to leave. She stopped in front of me, "Nari, you might want to go change." She walked away smirking.

I looked down at my clothes and OH MY GOSH!!! I was still in my pjs. I wasn't even wearing a bra!! I folded my arms over my chest, "I'll be right back!!" I turned and ran back to my room. 'I hope he didn't see anything.'

- JACKSON'S POV -

Nari's mother is such a nice lady. I can tell she really cares for her daughter. She kind of reminded me of my omma. I was about to say something to Nari, but her mother whispered something to her and her face turned blood red. She covered her chest and ran out of the kitchen. 'What was that about?' Oh well. I pulled out the doughnuts and started to devour one with sprinkles. 'Yummy'

- NARI'S POV-

After putting on a bra, leggings, and a hoodie, I went back to the kitchen. Jackson had a dozen of doughnuts sitting on the table. I was so happy. I absolutely LOVE doughnuts! So yummy and good!! I smiled and walked over. Jackson watched me as I moved closer to him and gave him a huge hug.

"Thank you for the doughnuts! You really didn't have to do that." I smiled and sat next to him.

"Well I want to do something to show you I'm not a complete jerk." He passed me a coffee.

I flicked his forehead, "Yah Jackson! I know you're not a jerk." I laughed and took a plain doughnut from the box.

"So you don't hate me?" He slowly smiled.

"Of course not! Why would you even think that?" Jackson started squealing and attacked me in a bear hug.

"You don't know how much I was freaking out." He hugged me tighter.

"Don't worry about it, arasseo?" I hugged him back, "Now let's enjoy these doughnuts!"
