Chapter 43: Where Are You

I wake up in Draco's arms the next morning and start to piece together the night. The dancing and fireworks. The look on Draco's face when we brought him a cake. But most importantly the moment Draco pulled me away from everyone and we snuck away from the crowd. 

I look up at him and smile. It's moments like this that really made me happy. There are no worries about anyone else, not school or families. I feel his soft sheets on my body and look at myself to make sure I'm actually wearing something. My underwear and bra are still there and I laugh to myself and look back at Draco.

"Stop staring at me," Draco says opening his eyes

"How long have you been awake?" I say pushing myself up on my elbows.

"How long have you been looking at me?" He asks looking at me.

"Ten seconds" I guess

"Then ten seconds," he says covering his face with his pillow.

I laugh and pull the pillow away from him. He pushes himself up and grabs my face to kiss me. I pull myself away from him and he gives me a funny look.

"Everything okay?" He asks

"You have something on you," I say

"Where?" He asks looking himself over.

"Right, there!" I say hitting him with my pillow.

"Oh so that's how it is?" he says grabbing a pillow to hit me back.

I jump back and he misses me. I jump out of the bed and Draco chases after me and I try to dodge him. Draco corners me and I hide my face behind my pillow. He pulls the pillow away from me and holds my face in his hands. I put my hands on his waist and kiss him.

"I win," he says kissing me again.

"What are we gonna do today?" I ask pulling him a little closer to me. I look at his body and try not to get distracted. The bad part of me just wants to stay in bed with him all day but I know I can't.

"Let's not make a plan, we can just see what happens," he says

"I know this is definitely about to ruin the moment but I'm really sorry about lying to you," I say looking down.

"Elena," he says lifting my head. "I think we've been through worse," he says.

"I know, I just don't want you to doubt that I had good intentions," I say.

"Let's go get some breakfast," he says kissing my forehead and pulling away from me.

What was that? He didn't say he didn't doubt it...does he think I meant to hurt him? Maybe he doesn't trust me with everything either. I mean, I haven't told him everything about my life I guess.

"I'll be two seconds," I say

I grab my dress and shoes and head out the door, Draco doesn't hesitate to let me go so I leave his room. I walk into my room and open the door to see Maddy and Claire sitting on my bed.

"Wow," I say closing the door behind me.

"Oh my god, Elena" Maddy laughs.

"I wasn't expecting company," I say grabbing a shirt off my chair.

"Clearly," Claire says.

I throw on my shirt and put my dress down in the chair.

"What's up?" I ask
