"Elena, ready to go?" Logan asks.

"Yup," I say walking out of my room.

"You got some letters today," he says walking down the hall.

"From who?" I ask

"Ben, Harry and guessing from the intense black seal, Draco," he says

"Ok, I'll look at them when we come back," I say as we head down the stairs.

"Bye mom" Logan says as he opens the door.

"Bye kids, I love you," she says as she looks up from her book.

"Love you too," Logan says

"Bye mom," I say as I follow Logan out the door.

I wonder what Draco sent me? He hasn't talked to me since we were back at Hogwarts. I also hope Harry gives me some good news. As for Ben, he's probably sending me a love song and thinks it's cute or something tacky like that.

I grab my broom from the side of the house and so does Logan.

"where should we go?" He asks turning to face me.

I try to think of a unique place to go. It seams we usually go to the same places when we fly. I quickly remember an old bridge that we used to go to when we were younger. It was never used because it was so far in the woods. It would only be used by the hikers that passed through every so often.

"Burnback Bridge," I say

"Burnback? we haven't been there in forever, I don't even think I remember how to get there" Logan says

"I think I do," I say

I don't actually have a perfect idea of where to go, but I remember small landmarks that are along the way. Logan and I get on our brooms and start to hover.

"Alright Lanny, where are we going?" he asks

"straight, head for the hill over there," I say pointing at a large rolling hill ahead of us.

Logan starts forward and I follow him. The wind feels warm and light. I almost forget that it's spring, I guess I haven't been outside enough to appreciate it. I take my hair out of my ponytail and let the wind curls around the strands of hair. I close my eyes and try to enjoy the moment. I open my eyes to see the hill approaching and Logan looks back at me for instruction.

"Go left" I yell at him.

He swiftly curves to the left and I follow. I look for the old barn with the red roof as the next land mark. I see it a few meters ahead and know were on track. I move forward to get beside Logan and he looks over at me. I smile at him and he smiles back but I can tell it's forced. I guess the last time we did this we had Mike with us. I look ahead and look for our next land mark, The river. I look down as we start to fly over the forest and look between the trees for a sign of water. The tress are thick and most of them have fully sprouted leaves again. Then I see it, a huge river that flows horizontally through the trees.

"Logan, down here!" I yell at him.

He looks down and notices the river and starts to dive down into the trees. I follow him down and we start to follow the river. We follow directly over the river to avoid trees and use the river as a highway. I start to see the outline of the huge bridge as we get closer to it. Soon the beautiful details in the bridge start to come into view and I slow down. The bridge is suspended over a water fall with one under it as well. As we arrive at the bridge it's more beautiful than I remember. The brown of the wood is still bright and the water fall on the other side is bluer than before. Logan and I both stop at the bridge and gently tough down.

"I can't believe this old thing is still standing," Logan says brushing his hand over the old wood.

"I know, but I'm glad it is," I say

"So what now," Logan says

I turn to see the waterfall behind us and look back at Logan.

"No way. I did not sign up for swimming today" Logan protests

"Oh come on Logan it'll be fun," I say

"No way Elena," he says backing up.

"Come on, you know you want to," I say stepping towards him.

"Elena I'm serious," he says

I know the river is deep and completely safe, we used to jump off the bridge all the time to swim.

"Let's go," I say pushing Logan

He stumbles and falls over the side of the bridge and into the water. It's a long fall and I close my eyes and quickly jump in after him into the water. I come to the surface and meet Logan.

"I hate you" He laughs

"I'll race you to the waterfall," I say swimming towards it.

Logan follows me and I try to speed up. He swims past me effortlessly and I give up. I make it to the waterfall and we sit on a rock together. I look at Logan and his soaked clothes and feel slightly guilty.

"I guess I didn't think this art through," I say looking at my own clothes

"Ya, maybe," He says laughing at us.

I laugh and look out at the view. The trees are beautiful and there's no one in sight. The sky is a perfect blue and the sun is sending beams of light through the trees.

"You ready to go back?" Logan asks

"Already?" I say

"I don't know about you, but I'm dying to know what Malfoy sent you," he says
