*Hunter's POV*

After the concert, I collapsed onto the couch in the green room. Eagerly drinking from a water bottle, exhaustion hit me full force. All I wanted to do was curl up in my bed with Aisling and sleep a full night for once.

"Hunter, what're you doing?" Lance asked as he entered the room.

"Relaxing," I replied in a 'duh' tone.

"You don't have time for that. You have a meet and greet to do."

"What? I had a coffee house meet and greet this morning. Why is there another one?"

"Because I scheduled another one. Now stop complaining and let's go."

I sighed and got up from my friend, the good old couch. Anything for my fans. I may be exhausted, but they matter to me. Lance ushered me out of the room to a room filled with girls. They screamed the moment they caught sight of me. Pasting a smile on my face, I waved. Girl after girl after even guys came through the line. But one caught my attention by asking about Aisling. She had two other girls behind her and appeared to be the leader of her little 'group'.

"Hunter, you girlfriend isn't here?" she questioned.

"No, unfortunately she couldn't make it," I responded.

"Oh, that's a shame. You know, I met her the other day," she said.

"Oh yeah? Where?"

"We were shopping a couple of towns over from Breaux Bridge and so was she. I stopped to talk to her."

"How'd you like her?"

She crinkled up her nose, catching my attention. Did she not like Aisling?

"She wasn't very nice," one of her friends answered my question.

"Why do you say that?" I wondered, curious. How could Aisling not be nice? She couldn't hurt a fly!

"I was just trying to be nice and then she said this..." the main girl trailed off, pulling out her phone.

A video began. Standing there was Aisling with an angry look on her face.

"Why don't you come back when you have more clothes on..." was the first thing I heard followed by, "Hunter would never want girls like you, so you can keep dreaming. And if you ever go to one of his meet and greets, you better watch out. I'll be sure to point you all out...I've got your faces all memorized and guess what? I never forget."

My jaw dropped. Damn, she'd surely told them. I tried not to laugh at her anger. She was so damn cute when she was angry.

My eyes snapped up to the girls' eyes. Her eyes were watering and her bottom lip was trembling. It was clearly fake. I tried not to roll my eyes at her. Aisling wouldn't say something like that unless she was provoked. They must've done something to insult her first.

Just as I was about to open my mouth to defend my girlfriend, Lance stepped in front of me.

"Ladies, I'm really sorry you had this experience. We'll be sure to fix it. How would you girls like a free tee shirt and CD?" he asked, a fake grin on his face.

They squealed and quickly hugged me before following Lance to the merch set up. The rest of the meet and greet was uneventful and when it was finished, I couldn't be more relieved. I headed into the bus and fell down on my bed, fishing my phone out of my pocket. It was late. Should I call her?

"Hunter!" Lance's voice echoed through the bus. He sounded angry.

"Back here!" I called back.

I could hear his shoes stomping against the floor, the bus shaking with each step. When he stood in the doorway my suspicions were correct. He was angry, very angry. The vein in his head was prominent and throbbing, his face red.

"Are you stupid?" he growled.

'"What? No! What's your problem?" I asked, offended.

"My problem is that stupid girlfriend of yours and her nasty mouth!"

I jumped up from the bed, ready to punch him in the jaw when Devo appeared from around the corner. He yanked Lance out of the way of my first.

"Yo man, calm down! What're you doing?" he yelled at me.

"He fucking called Aisling stupid and then said she had a nasty mouth!"

Devo stared at Lance in shock. "Why the hell would you do that? Aisling's a nice girl!"

Lance scoffed and then laughed. "Clearly not when she's insulting Hunter's fans," he said. "We had a fan show us a video of her being insulted by Aisling."

"Well there has to be a good reason! Aisling rarely gets angry like that! She's too sweet to say things like that!" I defended her.

"What reason would there be, Hunter? Huh?"

"She's been insulted by my fans before. The girls were probably the ones insulting her and set her off."

"Keep telling yourself that. She's not good for you. In the end, she's going to ruin your career. I convinced that girl to delete the video from her phone. If I hadn't, it could've gotten out on the internet and we would've had a big scandal on our hands."

I closed my eyes, willing myself to calm down. I shook my head and stuck up my hand.

"Just let me get some rest. I've had enough for one day," I said. "Goodnight to you both."

I slammed the door in Lance and Devo's faces and then plopped back down on the bed, rubbing my eyes. This was crazy, but I sure am glad it is. I don't want easy with Aisling. I want crazy. I paused, repeating the words. I don't want easy. I want crazy. Perfect song lyrics. I got up and grabbed my guitar that was leaning against the wall. Screw rest. I have a new hit song to write.
