My phone kept on buzzing as Tina sent a message she was coming to get me at home, so we could attend the party together. Maybe, she has forgotten I now have a sister that can accompany me or she doesn't want to leave alone. I wouldn't blame her for that, I also don't want to leave alone.

Anyways, I wonder why some people have the party all night. What is the fun in not been able to sleep, enjoy a good night rest but shouting, drinking and dancing your life away? If I was in charge of making decisions, I would say we rather not attend the party.

Just then the door to my room or let me say our room opened as Maria enter, jumping up and down. This girl was really something. She was invited to the party of whom she knows nothing about but she was excited as if she was the celebrant. I am sure the celebrant can't be as excited as she was.

"Sister, what dress are we putting on," she was sitting opposite to me. "I want something short, maybe a short gown will do." She continued. I sat down looking at her. I haven't replied yet, she was already up dragging a leather box. I just continued watching her. I guess this was what it felt to have a sister. It wasn't as boring as before.

She opened the leather box bringing out different dresses. She would bring them out, check them on her, shaking her head then bring out another one. The process continued like that. I was sure she was definitely trying to impress someone with her outfit.

"What are you doing?" I asked her the obvious.

"Checking out my dresses". She sighs. "I don't seem to have any beautiful dress, all this are old" she pointed at the dress that was now displayed on the bed.

What was I supposed to do, play fairy godmother, to turn her into Cinderella or what? I am not bothered about what I would wear, I can always pick a cloth out of my wardrobe to put on. It's not as if I am the celebrant that was supposed to dress extra carefully.

"What should I wear ?" she asked me pointing at her dresses. I picked one randomly.

"Why not wear this". It was a short yellow gown, which will show some cleavages and also it will be very slim, showing all the appropriate curves. I think that was okay because she surely was trying to impress someone.

"No, don't you think the colour is fading" she was now lifting the cloth up for me to see as if it was some sort of award. Gosh! She knew that, why did she bother asking for my opinion. I don't know why she is so serious over a party.

I was rescued from her trouble immediately I heard the knock on the door. I jumped out of bed immediately to open the door. Tina was smiling, carrying a bag with her. I can very much guess what's in the bag.

Before I knew what was happening, Tina and Maria were already bringing out their makeup to paint their face. I don't understand why some people will sit down in front of a mirror for hours just to paint their face. I would rather watch I went anywhere I was going without makeup.

Soon I was been dragged in front of the mirror by my sister and Tina. They both started making me up, applying different types of things on my face; lipstick, eyeliner, powder, lipgloss those were the few I remember. I can't fight against them both so I sat quietly while they perform what Maria called their magic on my face.

In few minutes they were through. I really must confess I looked different and I actually like this me. I went to bring out a top and a fitted Jean with my converse to wear to the party, only to see Tina collecting them from me.

"No way you are wearing this". I looked at her as if something was actually wrong with her.

"Why not? Is it not a cloth".

"It's a cloth but it's not fitted for a party".

"Excuse me, Tina, I am not the celebrant. I can wear anything that makes me feel comfortable".

"No way you are wearing this" she repeated, I look at Maria she was nodding her head in agreement. No problem I will satisfy them.

"Don't worry your sister and I would help you find something in your wardrobe?" she said looking at Maria.

Indeed they will. I was laughing inwardly if only she knew Maria has a problem finding a dress for herself she wouldn't have suggested that.

I decided to rest while they were on their mission. Closing my eyes I remember when I first met Drey it was like yesterday. I was rushing to get something at the school canteen but I accidentally crashed into him. After apologising I told him I will make it up to him. My pride back then made me search for him.

I opened my eyes to see whether Tina and sis had given up on the search. I was surprised when Tina pulled a dress in front of me.

I remember this dress, mum saw it online and said she like it, it was beautiful. I never wore the dress not even to church. I guess it is time I made it useful.

Soon we were all dressed. Have you heard of a princess without a prince that's what we look like at the moment? We were all dress in short gown. Tina has helped her solved her dress Issues.

Arriving at the said location. It was exactly how teenage party looks out. Totally cliche, loud music, girls and boys dancing, some were sucking each other face. I was looking from my left to my right while holding unto bff and sis.

He was standing there in a top and Jean trouser. He wasn't wearing a suit like most of the guys there but he was most handsome. Within a blink of an eye, Maria was already running towards him. What was this girl problem with Drey?

Tina whispered in my ear ' I think your sister is in love' but I couldn't respond. She can't be in love with Drey, that's not possible. I look towards there direction both of them were sorted on a chair laughing and whispering in each other ears.

I wish looking at someone could kill them. Both of them would be dead by now. Trying my best to ignore them there is no reason for me to be jealous. I don't like Drey so he can go ahead dating anyone he likes.

Suddenly I saw Martin's coming towards my direction. I haven't seen the rest of the group but Martin is cute, too cute. I excused Tina who was already walking towards some direction.

"Hello beautiful," Martins said. "Do you want to dance with me." He continued. Sure I could dance with him to forget about that coconut head. It wasn't a bad idea so I agreed.

"Sure". He draws me towards the dance floor spinning me around. I really was having so much fun, because I love dancing.

I was laughing, dancing and joking with Martins when a hand suddenly pulled him away from me.
