Chapter 16 - Tell him you accept

"Sister, please help me out" Mary was shedding tears. She has never asked for anything from me before, I guess this thing must be very important to her.

I am sitting on the bed in our room, while Mary was sitting on the floor.

"What exactly do you want me to help you with" I am getting frustrated, she has been asking me to help her out but she hasn't said one reasonable thing I am to help her with.

"Remember I helped you with Martins. First, promise me you will help me." I don't like where this helping stuff is getting to, this promises me first thing always have repercussion and I don't like being in a situation of after promising not been able to fulfil it.

"Why don't you say what I want to help you with first, Mary? I will then help you if I could."

"I know you could Sis, it's in your capacity and I want you to promise me you will help me"

"Okay, I promise, just let it out now"

"I am in love with Adrian" She blurts out and I can't help but scream WHAT!, but my dear sister wasn't through with her request.

"I want you to help me find out who that girl he was speaking about is?" She was already weeping and I don't know what to say, I can't talk her out of loving Drey either can I tell her I am the girl she presently detests.

How could she fall in love with Drey of all people, It's annoying but I can hardly blame her. I know how girls swoon at Drey's feet.

"It's okay Mary; you don't need to cry over a guy like this. If he cares for you, he would come around". And the award-winning adviser goes to Sussanah Adetoye.

"I don't care, sis, I want him now and I want the girl out no matter what it takes" She insisted. Just as I was about to tell her not to think like that, my phone ringing tone distracted me.

"Sorry Mary, I have to pick this," I told my sis while I picked up my phone

"Hello, my love" came the stranger's voice. Really, I am stuck with a serious issue here and someone is trying to play hide and seek with me. I really don't have time for that.

"Seriously, whoever you are, if you can't come clean before me, don't ever grace me with your calls, again," I said immediately disconnecting the call. Now back to the sister issue, I don't know what to do but I already promise Mary and I know it's one promise I can't fulfil but she doesn't know that. How could she have fallen for Drey out of all the guys at school? She fell for Adrian. Gosh, I am presently pissed off when another call from my phone jeered me out of my thoughts. I swear if it is the hide and seek guy I would kill him from my phone.

Surprisingly, the call is from Tina.

"Hello, Sussy I have a plan regarding your first love," She said

"Really, what plan? Let me meet up with you, so we could discuss it better" 

"Meet me up at my house" she immediately responded.

"No, anywhere but your house.  You know how I feel around your elder brother ".

"Okay, just meet me at the park close to my house in an hour time"  with that she disconnected the call.

I went back to my room and Mary is still sitting on the floor. I feel sorry for her, knowing Drey, he can never date Mary he is that stubborn whenever he wants something he usually gets them, but he is getting nothing from me.

"Sis, what are you going to do about that girl" Mary questions immediately she sees me.

"I will find something to do about it but right now I have to go somewhere, " I told her while putting on my sandal.

"Don't think about it too much, I will surely make sure the girl stay away from him" because I have no interest in him.

"Thank, sis. I love you"

"Love you too" with that I was out of the room and on my way to find a solution to how to destroy this first love problem.

I saw Tina sitting on the bench at the park and she was seriously pressing something on her handset.  I swear our handset will lead we, teenagers, to somewhere in this generation of ours.

"Tina, so what's the solution," I said almost immediately after sitting beside her.

"Is that how to greet" She replies jokingly.

"I don't have time to joke right now Tina, can you  believe my sis is in love with Drey ?" I asked her and her response was WHAT!

"You can't be serious" replies shocked.

"I am very serious. Drey is messing with two sisters, now my sister hates me not knowing I am the girl Drey like"

"This is more fun than I thought," Tina said and that earned her a spank from me. How could she think all this is fun my mock exam is fast approaching and my life is becoming like one of those novels I  usually read.

"It's fun to you. I wish you are in my position maybe you would still find it fun"

I really can't blame Tina, she doesn't even have a boyfriend and I know she has never had a boyfriend before. It is not because she is not beautiful, she just hides from guys.

"Sussy, don't take this teenage love too seriously. You still have a long way ahead of you" And mummy Tina is back with her advise.

"Yes ma'am, can you just tell me your plan concerning my first love"

"Oh! I have just the perfect plan" she said rubbing her palms together.

"Just tell him you accepted to date him back..." She is not through with her plan before I decide to cut her off

"Are you kidding me. Accept who, that is the dumbest plan I ever heard in my whole years of existence"

"Why don't you hear me out first.  That's the first part of the plan" she proceeded

"So your dumb plan has part two. Madam planner I have no interest in this plan"

"Why don't you hear me out before you condemn my plan. I am just trying to help you out"

I pretend as if I was thinking before telling her that she was helping me by including another problem to my problems.

" Sussy, listen to the part two first" but I was not interested.

"Just forget it, Tina. It is no fun anymore.  It seems you take it as a joke right".

That made my friend angry "What do you take me for Sussy.  I am being serious here, so please shut up and listen"

"Okay, I am all ears"

"Tell him you have accepted to date him, then you make his life miserable by doing all that he hate before you know it he would start disliking you"Hmm" Hmm, that actually makes sense, but what about Mary, what if she finds out I am the girl. I don't want my sister to hate me"

She went into thought island for few seconds before responding "Just tell her it's part of the plan to get the girl he loves so you can deal with her" She smiles

"That actually makes sense, I don't know what I would do without you, you are the best girlfriend ever" I replied hugging her.

"I thought I was the friend making fun of your life just now" She replies trying not to smile.

"I was only joking then, let's forget that"

"No problem.  I just hope you can do this and not fall for him again"

"Never, I can't ever fall for coconut head again"

Drey watches out as I destroy the stupid hope you have nurtured for our childish teenage love.
