chapter 23- now it is official.

Drey's P. O. V

I sat down in my room,  a smile was spread on my lips as I remember the kiss I shared with Sussy.  How I have been willing to kiss her for a long time.  I am so glad, I am finally able to taste that lips of her.

I want her to be mine.  I want to be able to call her my girlfriend.  I just want all of her.  I stood up from the bed,  pick of my phone and decided to pay her a visit at home.

While driving to her place,  my phone suddenly rang.  The caller ID was my babe, the was the name I use to store Sussy's number because she will always be my babe.  I sigh and pick it up through my Bluetooth, obeying the rule, no driving and calling.

"Hello baby, " I said immediately I picked the call,  my face straight on the road and one of my hand was on the wheel.

"Hello, Drey. I need you to come here please. " her voice was hoarse like she has been crying. 

"what happened? " I was suddenly scared.  Unknowingly biting my lower lips in the process.

What could have happened to her?

Is she alright?

I just don't want anything bad to happen to her.  I was real trouble,  and I started driving faster after telling her I will be there soon.

She was sitting on a couch in her sitting room,  while Mary was sitting on another couch.  Her hands were on her hair, pulling the poor hair involuntarily.  She didn't even know that I was already inside her sitting room.

I went to tap her, to announce my arrival.  "Sussy,  talk to me.  What is wrong? " I sat the chair beside her.

She lifted her head up and her eyeballs were as red as fire.  She has been crying for long.

"what happened?" I tried to hold her shoulder with one of my hand,  and the other hand was holding hers. Mary suddenly stands up to leave the room.

"No...  No,  May... Mary,  you can sit down" she said and tried cleaning her eyes with her hand.

Mary ignored her as she walks out on her.

My mouth was open as I look at the open door to their room,  and I look at Sussy's figure shaking on the chair. 

"she loves you," she said before I can open my mouth to say anything.

I wasn't shocked,  as it was my plan with Mary.  The plan was for her to pretend to like me,  to make Sussy like me,  to drive her jealous.

I may be a wrong method to some,  but I don't know what else to do.  I don't know how else to change her mind.  I think it's time to change Sussy's believe about Mary and me.  I can't have her believing,  that she betrayed her sister.

"Excuse me,  let me go and talk to her." I stand up immediately,  moving towards the direction of the open door.  I look back at Sussy's figure that was still glued to the couch.  She wasn't planning to move an inch from where she was sitting.

I walk into the room, Mary was lying on the bed with a headphone plug to her ear.  She stood up and remove the headphone immediately she saw me.

"I think it's time to put her out of her misery.  I can't stand to see her that sad. " I whispered, she looked at me and smile.

"I am glad that she has realised what she wants,"  her lips still curl up in a smile and she moves closer to hug me.  I was surprised at first but I hugged her back.

"let's go put her out of her misery," she pulled me out of the room.  Her steps were short,  so I removed my hand from hers and take longer steps, walking ahead of her.

Sussy was still sitting where she was when we walked in. I sat closer to her again.

Mary was the one to break the news to her.  Telling her about the pranks,  how I asked for help,  my tears, my pains and how she can't resist but to help me.  She also said, she doesn't want her sister to lose her love for pride.

The pride that she is too good for me, the pride that she can never forgive me.

Sussy sniffed in the catarrh that has involuntarily occupied her nose. She looked from Mary to me, then me to Mary. Still not speaking a word, she glanced at us in a really strange manner.

"Please, say something," I whispered. I don't want to instigate her anger, nor do I want to see her that silent.

She tried to sit more properly on the chair, by using her head to wipe her butt.

"Those that mean..." she pointed from her sister to me.  I nod, looking at Mary she was doing the same thing.

"Really!" her eyes were the size of a frying pan. "Mary, Does that means, you don't like him in that manner."

Her eyeball was fixed on Mary, while I was tempted to hold her hand.

"Yes, you idiot of a sister" Mary chuckles. "I do love him but as a friend." she (Mary) shrugs. "He is nothing but a friend to me. I am just helping my idiot of a sister, and my friend gets what they deserved.

Sussy screamed as she pulled me for a hug. My eyeballs were the size of potato, trying to comprehend what just happen. In another second, l was hugging her than she was to me.

Then she pulled away from the hug, running towards Mary. " Thank you. Thank you. Thank you " she screamed pulling Mary into a hug.

"Now it is official." my voice breaks them from hugging themselves to death.

I went on my kneel."Sussy, do me a favour," I move closer to her, still on my kneel. Her mouth was left agape, and that of her sister.  "Will you be my official girlfriend." I smile at her, hoping my charm will work.

"Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!" she pulled me up for a hug and smiled at me. The next minute, her lips were on mine. As I was too occupied with her lips on mine. I love every bit of her. Her smile, her lips her eyes, her nose.

I found out that I am still in love with my ex. Susannah Adetoye.

I can still change my mind in the future and update more on this. But this story has taken a long time, and I am eager to finish it. I hope you like it.
