There is more than a whiff of desolation about these Fallen. Their ranks are swollen with Dregs; their rags threadbare. Perhaps this is a new House, gathered from the outcast malcontents and disgraced castaways of the others, galvanized by pride or hate or the desire for freedom.

"Amber may I have a word with you and your comrades?" Petra calls us over to a kiosk with the Queen's logo emblazoned on the front.

"Sure Petra, August Maddie lets go see what she wants."

"Ok call me crazy but should we really go towards the crazy woman with the eye patch throwing a knife into the air? Call me old fashioned but that is not normal." I ask

"The eye patch is a time honored battle scar from a fight with the Fallen House of Wolves show some respect." Maddie snaps pausing after every word

"Guardians there is rumor of a Fallen house thriving among the Hive, I need you guys to go see what they are and find a weakness." Petra holds her blade to my eye and asks "that sound easy enough new guy?"

"Uhm, yes I think, Amber do you mind explaining to me the entire thing in the ship?"

"Wait August do you not have your own ship? How did you get here then?"

"Angel flew me here and my old ship is at the Tower, and more importantly I don't know how to fly it."

"That's an issue for a later date Maddie you don't mind flying with him?"

"Sure it'll be fun, we are going to the moon I assume? Last we heard from the moon there was a guardian there doing research on a place called 'The Temple of Crota' do you really think this is a good mission to start him on?"

"Well Godspeed guardians, I await news of your return and of great triumph over the forces of darkness."

We walk over to a large expanse of openness under the Reef and Amber decides to jump off completely natural and with no remorse. I nervously look at Maddie she just laughs, "Yea Amber is quite a flashy one but what can you do, if it makes you feel better I can have my ghost bring my ship over here so its not a free-fall"

"Thanks Maddie, is she always like this?"

"Well nine times out of ten she does manage to land in her ship but every now and again we do have a bit of a mistake and she hits some debris."

"Why not clear the debris? It would make this place look a bit more polished."

"Well August I have a question to answer your question, what is the key difference between the Tower and the Reef."

"Well now that I think about it, the Tower was much more precise, everything looked like it had a place and was exactly where it was supposed to be and the Reef kind of reminds me of the Cosmodrome where I woke up, surrounded in rubble and this place looks more real."

"Exactly, the Reef doesn't try to hide that war ends with rubble and destruction, maybe one day Petra will explain ours but that's not my place. Lets just go."
