Chapter 8

"What's one plus one?" Melanie walked in. My eye brows furrowed in confusion.

"Two?" I was confused. Did she not know the answer? Or..?

"Okay good." She huffed angrily. "Well another two decided to join my date last weekend." She growled angrily at me.

My cheeks flushed as I realized what she was on about. She caught me. She caught us. Unless Ashton told her. Which I'm pretty sure he would have.

How else would she find out? I was in loads of trouble. She was gonna kill me. This is it. Good bye beautiful unicorns, hello hell.

"Mel.." I started.

"No! Don't. I don't care for your explanation. You lied and stalked me. I mean.. what were you thinking?" She laughed bitterly.

"I was thinking about how he might hurt you. Have you met the real him Melanie? Have you? I think you're too caught up in that head of yours." I scoffed standing from my bed.

"I'm not too caught up. You wouldn't understand our situation! I don't need you and my parents to look after me. I'm capable of doing that on my own!" She yelled walking out of my room.

Tears rushed to my eyes. I sighed letting my head hang. What have I done? What was I thinking?

There was a knock on my balcony window. I turned around to see Ashton standing there. My eye brows furrowed as he pointed to the lock.

"Go home!" I mouthed. He frowned shaking his head.

"Open the door!" He yelled through the glass. Tears coated my cheeks as I shut the curtains. I probably wasnt going to talk to Melanie for a while. All because of him.

For the past week and a half I've avoided all of them. Theo, Melanie, and Ashton. Melanie was still mad at me. I haven't gotten a single text or call from her, but Ashton and Theo were blowing up my phone.

I decided to turn it off and leave it at home. Stupid of me, I know, but I didn't care. I needed to be away from the world for a little while.

I pulled into the schools parking lot. I turned my car off picking up my bag. As I went to open the door Ashton stood there. He smiled waving.

"Go away." I shook my head. He frowned letting his head fall to his side.

"Please talk to me. I didn't mean to tell her. She kinda just put the pieces together." He pleaded.

Well... I guess I won't be going to school today. I started my car and drove away from the school. I sighed rolling my windows down.

Where the heck am I gonna go now?

Fuck! She's so stubborn. Why won't she just listen to me? I mean ... I honestly didn't mean to say any thing.

Theo walked over to me with a frown. His eyes wandered over to where Alexandra drove off. I sighed rubbing my face with both hands.

"Nothing." He ran his hand through his hair. Two weeks! Two weeks and we haven't heard from her.
