I dressed in a pair of grey leggings with a grey hoodie. I put on a pair of black Vans. I applied a matte purple lipstick. My hair was braided to the side. I grabbed my phone, wallet, and my keys rushing down stairs.

I had fifteen minutes till nine. I needed to get to Melanie's house ASAP. She's probably gonna kill me when she finds out, but she's my best friend. I wanted what was best for her.

I swung my door open to see Ashton standing there. His fist raised ready to knock on the door. I frowned cocking my head to the side.

"How do you know where I live?" I asked.

"I live next door." He smirked pointing to his left. I rolled my eyes stepping out of my house. "I came by to ask if you had sugar, but it seems like you're going some where."

"Yea." I nodded. I looked over at my car as a thought popped into my head.

"Hey! Can you do me a favor?" I turned to Ashton. He nodded his head.

"Can I borrow your car?" I bit my lip anxiously.

"Why?" He cocked his head in confusion.

"Mel knows what my car looks like." I shrugged.

"I want to join, what ever you're doing." He chuckled. I nodded my head.

"But I'm driving." I sighed. He nodded his head running to his house. He came back out with his keys and a leather jacket.

"Here." He passed me the keys and walked over to a black Charger. I unlocked the car and got in. I drove out of his drive way and towards Mel's house.

"So what are we doing?" Ashton broke the silence.

"Erm.. my best friend has a date tonight, but I don't trust the guy. So I'm ... spying." I answered. He shook his head.

"With who?" He scoffed.

"Bryan. Um ... Bryan Sivan." I answered.

I parked the car and waited for Bryan to pull up. I watched as a car stopped in front of Melanie's house. Bryan got out with a bouquet of flowers. He walked up to her door and knocked.

Honestly, I felt like a stalker just watching him. So far, he was making a good impression. It better stay that way.

Mel opened the door taking the flowers. She smiled taking the flowers and walked out of my view. Bryan stood there as she walked back, hands empty. I turned my phone on vibrate. Bryan opened his car door letting Melanie slip in.

What a gentleman! At least Ashton's windows were tinted. Or else that would've blown our cover. Bryan pulled away and i waited a minute or so before following.

"You know ... you look like a creep." Ashton cackled.

"You do too, since you're in the car with me. Do you have sunglasses?" I asked as we pulled into the restaurant. It was a five star restaurant.

"Holy... the only thing I'm gonna be able to afford is a glass of water." I muttered. Ashton cracked up beside.

He pulled out a pair of Raybans. "Good. Slip those on." I nodded. He did as I said and got out. I sighed slipping out and and locking the car. We walked up to the entrance. Ashton pulled the door open. I smiled over at him and walked in.
