Chapter 13

Ed Sheeran~ Kiss Me

I've done every thing. I've kept my curtain closed. My lights off at night. I made sure to get to school extra early. Leave a little late. I was on top of this.

He did try to approach me a few times, but I fled. I couldn't give myself to any one. Maybe a puppy, I could give my heart to a puppy. But never a human.

I haven't even gone to the clearing! I completely forgot to go. I doubted the wolf showed up any ways, so I wasn't worried about it.

The hall ways grew quiet. I frowned looking to my left. There was nothing going on. Then I looked over to my right. Ashton was making his way over to me. My eyes widened as I slammed my locker shut.

I made my way towards my class. Weaving through people as their eyes scanned mine curiously. Man! Why was every one looking at me? Didn't they have lives?

"Alex!" Ashton called out. RUN! My legs wouldn't go any faster. This was like a bad dream, and I hated it.

"Alexandra. Stop!" Ashton caught ahold of my arm. I was turned to face him. Sparks flew up my arm. I gasped pulling away.

"What have I done? Why are you running from me?" Ashton frowned.

"N-nothing. You-u haven't d-done any thing. I've just been really busy. I'm sorry. Um .. I'll talk to you later though. I have to go and do some thing." I turned around.

"No! Enough of this shit Winters. Tell me what's on your mind. You're running again." Ashton scoffed.

"What are you talking about?" I kept walking. He ran up to my side and followed me. I decided I was gonna go to the library.

"You know what I'm talking about!" He snapped. My heart was beating at a quick pace.

Of course I knew what he was talking about. How could I not? I was avoiding him. And I was failing. I wanted to run back into his arms and just stay there.

I couldn't though. That would be the biggest mistake I would've ever made. I would just be let down. My hopes would be so high that it would hurt more. I don't need that.

"What's on your mind?" He pleaded. He was desperate for an answer. Some thing I couldn't give him.

"Ashton.." I sighed taking a seat at one of the empty tables in the back. No one really came to the back this early in the morning. So I found myself being alone. In pure quietness.

"No. You're gonna tell me." He snarled.

"I'm scared!" I stood up, slapping my hands onto the table. No! I told him. I'm letting him in.

"Scared of what?" He frowned looking up at me.

"I've told you too much." I shook my head walking away. I couldn't expose myself.

"Alexandra! Tell me." Ashton pulled me back. Ashton pressed me against the table while his body trapped mine.

At this point I knew I didn't have a choice. He wasn't gonna let me go. Not Until I told him. And I was letting in a lot of disappointments.

"I'm scared of getting hurt." I whispered looking down. I couldn't bring myself to look up at him. I was setting myself up.

"Alex." He brushed a strand of hair away from my face. "I will never hurt you. I could never ever fucking hurt you. I'd rather get struck by lightning than hurt you."
