Show day is here. Wind isnt too bad this morning just a simple blowing breeze. Cool air is nice. It calls for a calm day.
*You awake startled by an alarm clock. Banging your hand against it. Moaning. I dont wanna get up... With that you force yourself up. Brush your hair. Brush your teeth. And all the others. Slipping on riding zocks and your white show breeches just for the look. A Team USA shirt goes over your head and a tag follows that. It says Handler for Rufio. Owned by Jay Shadow... Finishing up one last thing you head out the door with your mother. Jay and her mother. You can't wait for another day that is full of olympics. You put on a brave face as Jay does the same. Hoping to take home a Gold atleast one time this week. Orrr just to last till the freestyle? Who cares. All that matters now is how much effort Jay and I both have put in. The training it took. Was rough. And Jay being blind took an even farther toll on that journey. We learned our lessons. Now its our time to fix them. Crossing your fingers for good luck. You glance over to Jay who is wearing her shiny black boots,white breeches full black seat, white show shirt,black long jacket, a stock tie, and beautiful white gloves. A few minutes later. Pulling into the long extended driveway to enter the horse stables you gaze out the window looking at all the horses that were stabled there in the past atleast all of the ones who were put into statues after they passed on. The truck breaks to a stop. Stepping out the rest of the USA Dressage Team greets you all. You go and grab Rufio as Jay sits down and the rest of the team tacks up and gets ready. 30 minutes later. All ready and Rufio warmed up by you Jay can hop on and so can everyone else. 2 hours later. Rufio is ready for the show and so is every one else. Jay and all the other riders walking all horses in warm up arena as the first few horse and rider teams go into the show ring and compete. Soon would be USA. and firsr up is Jay and Rufio on that team.
