*A truck and trailer pulls into the driveway of the horse barn. Jay stands next to you. Anxiously waiting for her beloved horse Rufio to step out. The truck volted to a stop. Screeech. Squeaky breaks. A huge issue for trucks. The vet steps out smiling. "He did awesome for surgery. He came out feeling and looking 20 times better than before. Just make sure to not let him in his pasture or he could pop his stiches out." Jay nods as she awaits the trailer to be opened. The vet reached up and undid the trailers bars to allow it to open. And when it did. Out came a friesian with one leg featherless... It looks sooo funny. You try not to laugh but you can tell that Jay thinks its funny to. We both notice that the vets braided his mane. It looks adorable and its soo colorfully. "Oh that. We decided to make him look pretty. One of your vet techs lives horses and likes to braid their manes before they head back home. And therefore...the braids were born. Ha ha. I hope you have a good recovery with him. He is one strong horse to go through something and come out with a fighting chance." The vet through his lead over the side of his neck and it landed draped across his back. With that. Rufio turns around. Eye to eye with his friend. Jay. He must of been soo happy to see her because despite having stiches he trotted over to her. Whinnying and Neighing. Nodding his head like crazy. Happy to see her. Jay gives out a giggle and you cant help but laugh as well. You glance over to the vet who now appears to be smiling...wait... Is she laughing. She is!!! Oh my. What fun it is to see a vet who likes to see a strong bond between an animal and a human, in this case horse and rider. Jay giggles some more before reching out and hugging him tight. Rufio looks as though he hugs her because he wraps his neck and head against her as she grabs tightly with her hands wrapped around his neck. "Looks like he will be just fine. I should be getting back. If you need anything you know who to call. You nod your head and reply with "Thank you." Jay mumbles the same thing, but its hard to understand her sense she is mumbling. Before you knew it thr vet headed out and Jay lets Rufio follow her to a tack up stall for her to wrap some leg wraps around his legs...since he likes to kick out against his stall and stuff. She also gets him some carrots and one green apple, his favorite. Standing beside Rudio Jay takes a bite of her own green apple. Enjoying it herself as Rufio enjoys his. One hour later. Jay leads Rufio back to his stall giving him a good pat and groom before doing so. Closing the stall behind her, Jay looks exited and happy to have her beloved stallion back. You would understand why. Waiting on your beloved friend or horse is like waiting for someone...this is gonna sound wierd...for someone to take forever to be undiagnosed with cancer. As we all know thst only a few diagnosed with cancer become cancer free. You are glad thst Jay was one of them. She is one strong person.
