Part 11: Wait.. Whose Fault Was It?

Maurice, Danyelle, Leonard, Anthony, and I got out of the mall safely, however zombies are still on our ass. The four were worrying where to go next. Meanwhile with Juan, he ran outside to the pick up truck in front of the mall where it was parked. He drove the vehicle all the way to the back of the mall to get all of us. The pick up truck arrived in front of Anthony, Leonard, Maurice and Danyelle. Quickly Anthony helped Leonard put me at the back of the truck, Danyelle sat inside next to Juan, Maurice, Anthony and Leonard stood at the back of the truck beside me.

Anthony: "I-Is she.......?"

He asked as he stuttered.

Maurice: "No you idiot!"
Punching Anthony's arm.

Leonard: "No. I could feel her breathing earlier."

Maurice worried for me, so he sat by my unconscious body.

Maurice: "You'll be okay my twin."
He said looking at me.

Leonard: "Don't worry about it! She's strong!"
He said while holding Maurice's right shoulder.

Maurice: "Haha! Right! What he said! Twin don't wait for me to pour water on you okay! haha"
he said with teary eyes.

Anthony: "Come on Mau! Stop talking like that I'm going to cry."

They all smiled at each other with teary eyes as Juan drives the pick up truck.

Danyelle: "It's all my fault."
She said as she hits the door.

Juan: "No. It's my fault.. I should have just given her harley quinn's bat."
He said as tears fall down his cheeks.

Danyelle: "Well she wont be laying down like that if it wasn't for me pulling out one of her grenades!"

Juan: "I guess we're both at fault huh.."
He sighed.

Danyelle: "Yeah I guess.. and Juan.. Please don't cry. You're driving."

Juan: "Oh right. Sorry.."
He said as he wiped his tears.

Danyelle: "Where are we going anyway?"

Juan: "A park.."

Danyelle: "Wont there be a lot of zombies there?"

Juan: "No.. I promise." 

Almost a one hour drive from the mall to the park Jino said. We got there and Jino stopped the truck inside the park. Everyone got off, Jino and Danyelle looked down, Danyelle couldn't even look at me knowing to herself that it was her fault that I was knocked unconscious.

Maurice: "WHAT THE HELL JINO!"
He said as he jumps off the truck.

Leonard: "Why the hell did you leave us huh?! What the hell is your problem!"

Anthony: "Look at what happened to Vane!! Jino."

Juan: "I--- I--I'm so sorry...." "I'm so sorry..." "I didn't mean for this to happen.."

Danyelle burst into tears when they shouted and blamed Juan because of what happened to me.

Danyelle: "Don't blame him!"
She cried.
"It was my fault she's in that state!!" "It's all my fault!!" 

Maurice's anger faded away when he saw Danyelle's face. He went over to her and hugged her to comfort her. Leonard held my right hand wishing that I would wake.

Leonard: "Vanessa... Please....."

~Groans~

Leonard: "Guys! She's awake!"

Quickly Maurice went to the left side of the truck and held my left hand. Everyone gathered around however Juan didn't come near. He sat in front of the truck, Danyelle went beside Maurice and held his other hand as she sniffled.

Maurice: "Twinny?"

I didn't open my eyes yet but still spoke.

Vanessa: "Heyy Pengu Onii.. Thanks for not leaving me behind."

Maurice: "Piggy! We would never leave you ever!!"
He squeezed my hand.

Vanessa: "You might!! If the piggy is too heavy."
I smiled.

Maurice: "Haha come on you still had the strength to make a joke?? We ain't weak,piggyyy! I can carry you! Leonard can carry you!"

Vanessa: "yeah right. haha thanks pengu onii"

Leonard: "I was the one who carried you muffin."

Vanessa: "Aw thanks sweet cheeks"

Anthony: "Sweet cheeks?? Really?.. That's what you're going with?"

Vanessa: "It was inspired by his booty"
I chuckled.

Maurice: "You really love Leonard's buns huh."

Vanessa: "So much."

I stood up and I noticed that Juan wasn't there... I looked around and I saw him in front of the truck.

Vanessa: "Hey Jino.."

Juan: "I'm so sorry for what I've done..."

Vanessa: "It's okay Jin.. I understand.. You got scared.. but don't apologize to me.. Apologize to them.."
I said as I look at Maurice and the others.

Juan: "Guys.. I hope you'd forgive me.."

As Juan apologize to everyone, I felt a slight tug on my dress.

"Hm??" "Oh Elle."

Danyelle: "Van.."

Vanessa: "Hey what's up" "Are you alright?"

Danyelle: "No. I'm not."

Vanessa: "Huh? why not.."

I asked as I scratch my head.

Danyelle: "I want to apologize to you Van.."

Vanessa: "Oh it's fine Elle."

Danyelle: "No! It's not fine Van! what if you really died back there huh?!" "The guys would never forgive me and I wouldn't forgive myself as well."

Vanessa: "Take it easy Elle. I wouldn't die of that.. I'm strong"
I smiled.

Danyelle: "Van you treated me as a family like them.. Like all of you treat each other.. I couldn't thank you enough for all you've done."

Vanessa: "Ahh shocks haha it's fine really. It would make me happy if you talk to Maurice and admit your feelings though."
I giggled.

Danyelle: "Aw Van.."
She blushed.

Now.. I wonder where we are ....
