Jack Halley's point of viewI am a fool for thinking that a person is more than a person. And an even bigger idiot to think that Ladi is a saint. She isn't. She's just a person who made a mistake. She tried to correct it, yes, by saving other people but that doesn't mean those who got hurt will be able to forgive her, though that also doesn't mean she should stop living. After all, what done is already done. The only thing we can do is try to not repeat our mistakes in the future.
On the day of her funeral, a lot of people from Jacksons came but little students did. I guess, everyone is still shocked about it. I won't blame them, though. We glorified her too much. I glorified her too much. And I deserve this.
Mark finally got out of the hospital, thankfully. He and Ari managed to caught up on the funeral service. We talked and made up. We even cried like the inner girls in us. Then we hugged, and Bonny just stood there without a knowlegde of anything. Alex is there, too, but not their parents which sucked a lot. She was a crying mess after saying her eulogy. When the funeral service ended, we bid our final respect to Ladi and decided to grab a bite.
And after that, after that we went home because no matter what we do, nothings going to change anything - Ladi won't come back, and I will be alive, still.
At the end of the day, there are still just two options in life: to live and to die.
And we pick the prior.

A HUMAN.
Written by Jack Halley"How treacherous to think that a person is more than just a person." As said by a familiar writer, it is as trecherous as the roaring sea to think that a human is more than who he is.
And today, it is Ladi. Ladi Highmore of the junior year who, we all know for all the great things she did for Hayden. Though after the recent events, it is safe to assume that we had glorify her too much.
Ladi Highmore is just a human who made a mistake. A mistake she regretted. However, rather than self pitying and repeating the same mistakes over, she changed for the better and realized that it is true--that no matter what she does she cannot change the past. What she can do is change for the better and make her future brighter. She did just that by ending bullying at Hayden High.
We do not know what pushes someone to inflict pain upon others. Maybe there's a deeper reason for it.
Maybe not. All we know is that, everyone is fighting a war of their own, everyone has their own depth and vastness. And like the ever-so-wide universe, the world doesn't have enough papers to describe that.
Hayden's Gazette is not pushing everyone to forget and let go about what happened but instead incourage everyone to learn from Ladi's mistake. No matter who you are, if you are inflicting pain on others, please stop now. Stop early and don't wait until someone jumps over a cliff because of your words.
Let us stop bullying together. It is not too late to stop. Make art, not war. Make love, not hate.

And we are done! Thank you so much for those who supported this story since the beginning! Shout out to my friend, Anna, for being there ever since. Thank you so so much, love. Although I haven't been active that much, I'm happy everyone still talks to me and supports me to everything I've done here in wattpad.
I'm also thinking of rewriting CALAMITY. And after that, write a new story called THE CRACKS BETWEEN US which is about misfits and love and just friendships.
I hope I did a nice job in this revised version. Thank you so much for all the support.
All the love, Aris. 🌹💖
