"It's been too long. She's dead."

"Shut up! Octavia is not dead. She must have her hands full, she'll contact us when she can."

"Your history with the Blakes seems to be clouding your judgement, yet again."

"That's enough. We have plenty worry about, we don't need to fighting amongst ourselves as well." Dad snaps.

"The Grounders have surrounded Arkadia like before. Two men rode up and informed us there is a kill order on anyone who leaves camp." Some lady rambles as she enters the room.

"What did they want?"

"Chancellor Pike."

"What are you not telling us?" I interject.

"They made a couple comments and Blake shot them down."

"Damn it Bellamy!" I scream, punching the table.

"Thank you, you're free to go." The woman give my father a quick nod and races back out of the room.

"You're not an idiot, why do you keep acting like one! Why are you siding with him!"

"Honey, you need to calm down."

"How can I be calm when the people running the place keep doing things like this. It's like they want Lexa to storm the place."

"Pike is crazy but he is smarter than that. It was Bellamy being rash, not an order. Let's just wait for Pike's real plan and we can go from there." Nate says trying to diffuse the tension.

"Fine." I grumble and take a seat next to him.

"Your Dad wants to play it safe. That new plan of his might work but what if it doesn't, what if we get caught?" Harper mutters as we pass through the yard. "I'm still in favor of what I suggested earlier."

"Shhh. Pike said it himself, the wall have ears." I reply in a hush tone. "Like I said, as long as we stay in camp we are fine. They will only attack if we try to leave Harper." Returning my voice to its normal volume. She puts on a sad face and nods. "What you should be worried about is being around me. Pike hates my dad and I, staying my friend might get you on his list too."

She hooks her arm with mine and smiles. "You stayed my friend back on the Ark even though you were a guard and I got myself into the Skybox. I'll risk getting yelled at by Pike rather than lose you as a friend."

"I just did what felt right."

"You Kanes and doing what is right."

"Yeah I know. Seems like it only doing harm nowadays though. Speaking of harm, what's wrong with him?" I trail off as I see my dad looking really upset. "Sorry Harp, but he needs me right now." And with that I rush over to my father.

"Dad, are you okay? What happened?" I gush as I fall in step with him.

He runs a hand through his hair and shakes his head. "He just won't see reason. He just doesn't get how it is down here (y/n). His actions are doing to get us all killed."

"That's not anything new. What's really eating at you?"

"He doesn't understand the sacrifices we made to get here. He brought up us turning over Finn like it was easy for us."

"All Finn wanted was peace with the Grounders until he broke. In the end he made the choice to put the camp before himself so that we could try to get that peace; so we all wouldn't suffer for the horrible mistake he made. That wasn't your fault. Don't go pulling a Bellamy and start thinking it is. You have done everything for this camp; willing to sacrifice so much for our people. After all this, you can't let someone like Pike break you Dad."
