The dog

Alex and Lauren take care of the puppy until it's huge!
Alex: Lauren, look at how big the puppy got!
Lauren: Alex I don't think he's a puppy anymore!
Alex: Then what is he?
Lauren: *giggles* she's a dog now he's older and bigger!
Alex: pfft... i-i knew that, I'm not stupid!
Lauren: Sure.
Alex: HEY!
Lauren: Just kidding!
*2 years later*
Alex: Lauren, LAUREN?
Lauren: Alex, what's the matter?
Alex: Our puppy-
Lauren: You mean dog!
Alex: You know what I mean! Our dog died!
Lauren: How, she's only 2? She's supposed to die in the next 8 years!
*Both Lauren and Alex cry over the dogs cold body*
Alex: Maybe she's not dead, let's take her to the vet!
Lauren: Ok...
*At the vet*
Desk lady: Can I get the owners of Laurex the dog?
Alex: We're here!
Desk lady: Well hello Alex and Lauren, walk this way!
*They enter the room, their dog was lying on a tray with wires connected all over her*
Lauren: Laurex, bark if you're ok?
Vet: Hello Alex and Lauren, I have some terrible news for you guys about Laurex!
Alex: What is it? *while he holds lauren*
Vet: Laurex has past away, due to cancerous cells in her little body!
*Lauren starts yelling and screaming, she shakes Laurex hoping that her lifeless body will wake up*
*Alex stopes her and tells her to calm down and that everything will be ok, then he gives her a kiss and a hug*
Lauren: *sniffles* I'm sorry doc I haven't lost anyone close in a long time after my grandfather! The feelings are back and I can't control them!
Vet: It's ok dear I've been through a lot like this I know it's hard to control!
Alex: Lauren we will be fine now, he's not in pain anymore!
Lauren: You're right! Thank you guy!
Vet and Alex: Anytime!
*At home*
Lauren: I want a baby, and I'm not going to tell anyone it's just us!
Alex: Lauren, are you sure?
Lauren: Alex I'm sure! All people do is wish us bad luck!
Alex: Ok!
*They go into the bed room*
Alex: What if you have another miscarriage!
Lauren: You're right. Maybe we aren't supposed to have kids!
Alex: Let's just live for now.
Lauren: Ok.
