Simple ways

Chapter 5

Me and Kailey woke up early so we can go shopping for new clothes for the tour. We ate our breakfast, brushed our there and hair, put on makeup you know the regular morning stuff. We quickly got our shoes on and head down stairs.

We get into kailey's jeep and start playing music, Caffeine by Casey Lee Williams. It one of our favorite songs.

We stop at a stop light, and start singing to the top of our lungs and dancing.

"caffeine!!!!!caffeine!!! I'm caffeine!!!, im a bad dream, I'm a rad seen, I'm a tad mean, but I'm not afraid to take you out!!!" We sang as loud as we could.

A guy in the car next to us just laughed.

We pulled into the mall parking lot. We go out of Kailey's jeep and quickly ran inside. We were so caught up in excitement that we lost track of time.
After shopping for about 3 hours we decided to get something to eat. We both ordered Chinese food then grabbed a seat.

"So how many clothes did you get?" Kailey asked me taking a bite of her food.

"Well I got 10 pairs of shorts, 5 pants, 10 shirts, 3 hoodies, sunglasses and 2 pairs of converse. How about you, what did you get?" I asked taking a sip of my bubble tea.

"Well I got 12 shorts, 6 pants, 13 shirts, 4 hoodies, 3 shoes- 2converse and vans and sunglasses."

"Do you think we're good?" I laughed

"Yeah, let's finish eating so we can head to Sam and Colby's apartment for the photo shoot."

We finished eating then headed to Kailey's jeep, we put our 10 bags in the back. Before we could get in a few girls stopped us and asked us for photos.
Obviously we didn't denied them, we took some pictures then we had to go to Sam and Colby's apartment.

Once we arrived, Sam and Colby were already waiting for us down stairs.

"You girls look like you are having a good day." Colby said giving me a hug then Kailey.

"Yeah just did a little shopping." Kailey smirked at me.

"Come on the photographer is wait for us upstairs." Sam said leading the way.

When we walked into their apartment there was a backdrop set up and a camera.

"You guys this is Carly our photographer for today. " Colby introduced us.

"Hi,it's nice to meet you." Carly shook our hand.

"Well let's get to it!" She said making her way to the camera and we followed.

We did a few dramatic photos and some silly ones. We had a lot of fun! It took about an hour to take the photos, it was kinda nice not being the photographer.

"So how many copies are you gonna need?" Carly asked

Sam looked at Colby for a little before answering. "10,000.."

"Wow! That's a lot, what are they for?" Carly asked grabbing the camera.

"Well we are going on tour and the photos are for signing." Colby answered for us.

"It may take a while to make the copies, when do you need them?"

"Monday, is that okay?" Kailey asked.

"Yeah I'll be able to get it done by then."

"Thank you so much! You can send the to our apartment." I said writing down our address then handing it to Carly.

We helped Carly take down the back drop and we thanked her again for the photo shoot.

We stayed for a little bit longer talking about how we're going to be traveling and where we're going. The stops are, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Kailey and i's home state Minnesota, and Washington. Kailey and I got excited once they said Minnesota, we haven't seen our families for about 4 months now.

We finished talking and it was night. Sam and Colby walked us down to Kailey's jeep.

"Wow you guys did some shopping." Colby said looking into the back a the the bags.

"Yeah but we only got a few things."
I said getting in the passenger side.

"A few! You guys have 10 bags back there!" Sam answered

"We know." Kailey laughed. "We'll see you later?"

"Yeah see you later." Colby said

Kailey and I headed home. When we arrived, we got our bags and walked in, our neighbor had to help us with our door though.

We dropped out bags in relief, tired form carrying them up. We got dressed for bed, washed our face, brushed our teeth and got in bed.

"Hey Kailey." I said turning off my lamp.

"Yeah?"

"You know we don't have to sleep to see our dream, cuz we're living it." I said reaching for her had.(she's across from me)

"I know."she held my hand."we're going on tour."
