Simple ways

Chapter 23

I woke up to the feeling of my cheek being licked.

"Oh Sky." I said picking her up and cuddled with her.

I look over and see Ocean trying to get on to Kailey's bed. Suddenly he jumped up with all the strength his tiny little legs could. He walked up to her face and licked her eyes first. It was so cute.

"Okay okay I'm up Ocean." Kailey laughed.

We both sat up and looked over at the futon, Mikayla was still asleep.
We both got up and put the puppies on the bed. They both waddled to her face and licked her.

"Hehe stop it that tickles." Mikayla giggled. "Aww, their so cute!" Mikayla sat up petting them.

Me and Kailey put them back on the floor and went to the kitchen to feed them.

It was so cut watching their little paws move quickly to their bowls. After we fed Sky and Ocean it was our turn to be fed.

We didn't have much food in the house, since we knew we were going to be gone for about three months for tour so we threw out or brought the food that could spoil if if it was not eaten soon. All we had to eat was cereal.

"Maybe after we look at apartments today we should go grocery shopping." Kailey said pouring milk into her cereal.

"Yeah we should I'll make a list of stuff." I went into our bedroom and grabbed paper and a pen from my side table and walk back to the kitchen.

I put Dow fruit such as apples, oranges, watermelon, pineapple and strawberries. We also like to have some snack foods in the house so I put down some chips and dip. For dinners we like to have chicken, spaghetti, soup, salad and more.

"You got everything down?" Kailey asked.

"Yep, we should take Sky and Ocean for a walk then get ready to go look at houses." I said finishing my cereal and putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

We didn't bother putting shoes on, we put the leashes on sky and oceans collar and headed out for a small walk.
After letting the puppies do their business we went back up to get ready.

We did our hair and makeup and brushed our teeth and got dressed. I grabbed my purse and keys to the apartment and my car and waited for the girls.

Before we left we made sure Sky and Ocean had plenary of water, today we were only going to look at three apartments. We headed out to my car. I was driving Mikayla was in the back and Kailey was next to me in the passenger seat.

"So how did you guys get your car and the apartment?" Mikayla asked.

"Well we started saving up when we were 16 and 17 and when we had enough to have at least one car and a apartment and pay the bills we moved out." Kailey explained.

"You guys picked a nice area to live in, im starting to think I should live in La." Mikayla replied.

"You should! It's really nice and you'll be able to see your boyfriend." I smirked.

We all giggled and talked more until we got to the apartment complex.

"Hello I'm Sara and I'll be showing you the apartments. "

"Hi I'm Kailey and this is my cousin Rose and this is our friend Mikayla."

"It's nice to meet you all, so I'm in a tight schedule so it going to be quick. The first one were going to be looking at is right this was."

We followed Sara into the building and into the elevator to the 3rd floor. We went down the hall and was the first to the left.

"So this one has a large white kitchen with a small living room. The spiral stairs lead to a fairly good size white room with a walk in closet and a master bathroom." Sara said walking into each room.
