Chapter 22

I woke up to the sun shining through the windows, I walked out of the bunk room and looked out the window.

"Kailey, Mikayla!! Wake up!" I said running back into the bunk room.

"Rose? Is everything okay?" Kailey asked.

"Follow me!!" I said pulling Mikayla and Kailey out of the bus.

"Were in California!!" Mikayla shouted in excitement.

"Okay we better get dressed then we'll go to our apartment and show you around." Kailey said to Mikayla.

We walked back into the bus and got ready. We packed our clothes and other items. The boys woke up and joined us for breakfast.

"Welcome to California." Tayler said to Mikayla.

"Haha thanks." Mikayla replied.

Once we finished eating we arrived at Kailey and I's apartment. Sam,Colby and Tayler helped us bring up our bags.

"Hey your back!" Our neighbor gave me and Kailey a hug. "How was your tour?"

"It was good." I replied

"That's good, well it looks like your busy I'll see you girls later."

"Bye!" Kailey said opening our door.

"Okay well text you when to come over for your present, happy birthday girls." Sam said giving us a hug, and the others joined in.

"Thank you." Kailey and I synced

The boys left and us girls started unpacking.

"So you can sleep in our room we have a futon that is really comfortable and the bedroom over there is where we keep our clothes, it's like a walk in closet." I said.

Mikayla took her bags and brought them into the walk in closet.

"This is so cool!"

Kailey and I laughed at Mikayla's excitement.

We set up the futon for Mikayla and showed her around but there wasn't much to show her since it's a small apartment.

"I like your decorating it's really nice." Mikayla said taking a seat on the couch.

"Thank you, before we picked you up, we talked about moving into a bigger apartment.Maybe tomorrow we'll go looking would you want to come?" Kailey asked.

"Yeah! That sounds fun!!" Mikayla replied.

While we waited for the guys to text us we decided to go to the spa get our hair and nails done.

We got into my white Camaro.

"It's good to have you back!" I said hugging the starting wheel.

"Did you miss your car?" Mikayla lagged getting in the passenger seat.

"Yeah." I joined her.

"Come on let's go before the boys text us." Kailey joined in too.

On our way to the salon we listened to some music. We put it on full blast, and cars driving by laughed at us.

"Welcome are you the birthday girls?" The lady at the desk asked.

"We are! Sorry if it was on such short notice." Kailey said

"That's quiet alright. Right this way."

We were lead to three chairs and sat down.

"So did you ladies want your nails done as we do your hair?"

"Yes please." Mikayla said for us.

"So what are we doing with your hair?"

"We all want a trim and I'll have my hair lightened like this." I said showing her a picture.

"And I'll and my hair darkened." Kailey said showing her picture.

"And I'll have my ends lighted." Mikayla said.

"Okay, we'll set things up then we'll get started." The lady went and got two more workers and they started with our hair, as they did our hair three more workers started on our nails.

"Now this is what we needed." Kailey said

"Indeed." Mikayla and I agreed.

It took two hours to finish our hair and nails. And we all were pleased with the results. We went to the front to pay.

"Since it is your girls birthday there will be a discount, your total is now $45.78."

Buzz buzz.

"The boys say to meet them at Hawaiian tropic restaurant. It's new."
Kailey said about to reply to Colby.

We paid and got in the car and met the boys at Hawaiian tropic. We saw the boys sitting at a table waiting for us.

"Hey." I said giving Sam and hug and kiss.

Colby hugged Kailey and a kiss and Tayler and Mikayla hugged.

"So how did you find this place?" Mikayla asked the guys.

"Well on our way to get their present we saw it and thought we should try it out." Sam replied.
We ordered our food it was sooo good, I'm so glad we tried this new restaurant.

We decided it was time to head to Sam and Colby's house to open our present.
Sam and Colby road with me and Kailey and Tayler and Mikayla drove in another car to Sam and Colby's.
When we walked into their apartment it was decorated and a cake was on the table and in the living room were two big boxed.

"So we can have cake before or after we open your presents." Colby said.

"It's up to you." I said to Kailey."you are the oldest."

"Let's open our presents." Kailey said walking to the boxes.

"Rose yours is on the the left and Kailey's is on the right." Sam said pulling out his phone and started to record, so did Colby Mikayla and Tayler.

We opened up the boxes and out came two puppies!

"Oh my gosh!! Kailey and I cheered."We love them!!"

"What are their names?" Kailey asked.

"Rose, Yours is a border collie and her name is Sky. And Kailey yours is a border collie too and his name is Ocean, the are brother and sister." Colby replied.

Me and Kailey started crying and gave Sam and Colby big hugs.

"Thank you so much!" I said

"Yes thank you!" Said Kailey

Sky and Ocean are both black and white with blues eyes but different pattern fur.

"We also got you girls something." Tayler said as Mikayla handing us a card

Inside was the card was a $200 gift card to petco.

"Why so much!?" Kailey asked.

"Because puppies need a lot. Come on let's get them some items!" I said getting up holding Sky.

We all got in the car and went to petco.
We grabbed a cart and put Sky and Ocean in. We first went to pick out the right food and food and water bowls. We next got four leashes two for each, then we got lots of toys and cute clothing, shampoo and collars with a tag saying their name and our numbers. Then we went to go check the beds and got one big one for them to share. We checked out and the total ended up being $134.

The boys helped us load all the stuff in my car and we went home to set things up. We put the bowls in the kitchen and their bed in our room. We grabbed a small bucket and put their toys in it.

"Thank you so much you guys! This is the best birthday ever!" Kailey said bring everyone in a group hug.
