Simple ways

Chapter 10

We made it to Texas, it was a long drive but we made it. Our show is in the morning this time, but after we have some plans before we leave for our next show.

Again we went in the VIP room and met all the fans. Then we did our regular show. Samantha and Colleen, and me and Kailey sung some of her original songs. The fans really liked it. After that we signed the photos we took at the photo shoot before tour. The fans really liked them.

Tour life can be fun but tiering at the same time. So far I like it. I think I like it because it had a good start.

We went out to eat after the show. We went to subway and I got the 6 inch subway club. It's my favorite. But after we ate we had to get some food at Walmart so Colby had something else to eat besides the cookies our grandma made.

We got some apples, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, chips, carrots, celery, let's just say a lot of healthy food.

We went to self check out and headed back to the bus, but when we got to the bus there was a big crowd, but not teen girls. Sam and Colby pushed through the crowd and Kailey and I followed. When we got inside we put the food away and headed to our next stop. 

"Colby did you make the reservation?" Kailey asked.

"Yeah I did, it's at 2. Well get there in time."

"Have you girl ever been horse back riding?" Sam asked grabbing the carrots.

"Yeah we use to all the time back at home. For a while Kailey's family owned a farm and we would horse back riding every day." I said stealing some carrots.

"Nice!"Sam ate a few more carrots then put them away.

The drive to the farm was about 30 minutes, but we're finally here.

"Should we dress up like we did back at home?" Kailey asked pulling out our farm outfits, jeans,belt, t-shirt and cowboy hat. We quickly changed then met Sam and Colby out side.

"We're ready." I said

"Awww I want a hat." Sam said 'crying' on Colby's shoulder.

"Me too." Colby cried back.

"Me and Kailey walked back in the bus and grabbed our extra cowboy hats.

"Here you go." We said together handing the boys our hats.

"Now I feel like I'm a real cowboy." Sam said

"Come on let's get our horses." Kailey laughed.

We walked to the main entrance and told the man at the desk our names. He lead us to the corral and said to wait,he was going to bring us our horses. The man came out with four horses. A black one, cream, white , and brown.

"Hey said you should ride the white one." Colby said

"Whys that?" Sam asked.

"Because you can't tan." Colby laughed and Sam joined him.

I took the white one, Kailey took the cream, Colby was on the brown one and Sam took the black. We all got on our horses waited for our group leader. He got on his horse then lead the group on the trail. This is the life no phones to distract us, just us and horses and the outdoors.

On the trail we saw some deer and bunnies and we saw a snake. We had to stop for a minute and let it pass buy because our horses were too scared to keep going, except Colby's his horse wanted to crush it. We were laughing pretty hard watching Colby try to keep his horse still.

We continued on the trail once the snake left. It was so nice out, I'm glad we took time to enjoy the rest of the day outside. It was sunset so we headed back to the coral.

"I'll race you there!!" I said as I made my horse run back to the barn. I look behind me and see Kailey ridding up next to me. It brought back so many memories. Our horses were running as fast as they wanted. We finally made it to the corral. We sat there on our horses waiting for the guys.

"Look their finally here." Kailey said pointing at four guys on horses.

"Wait who's that?" I said

"Let find out."

We moved our horses to the group.

"Tayler Holder. What are you doing here in Texas?" I asked reaching over giving him a hug and Kailey did the same.

"Just visiting Texas." He replied.

"And he's going to be joining us on tour!" Sam said dismounting off his horse.

"What that's so cool!" Kailey said dismounting too.

"He won't be in all of the shows, but he'll be traveling with us in the same bus, luckily we have two extra beds." Colby handed the group leader the horses reins. The rest of us got off our horses and we all headed back to the bus.

We took turns taking a shower to get that farm smell off. I walked back in the living room and cuddle up next to Sam. Kailey came In and cuddled up next to Colby. Tayler came in and stopped looking at us.

"Am I missing something here?" He asked pointing at both couples.

"Oh yeah, we forgot to tell you. We're dating." Sam said

"So are we." Colby replied

"Well it's about time." Tayler said and we all laughed.

"Hey you guys I have a question." Kailey said sitting up.

"Yeah?" We said In sinc."

"Well me and Rose have a friend back at home that doesn't live too far from our parents house, and well you said we have extra bunks, well I was thinking maybe could she join us on tour then when we get back home she can stay at our apartment for a little bit then she can get a plane back home."

"Mikayla?" I asked her.

"Yep!" She confirmed.

"Sam can she please!" I asked

"I'm okay with it. Colby, Tayler?" Sam asked the guys

"I'm fine."

"That's okay."

"Yes! Okay we'll have to surprise her like we're surprising our parents!" Kailey said giving me a hug.

"Yes! We have to!" I said returning the hug.

Grandpa is right we're full of surprises but after a long day, we went to where Tayler is staying so he can grab is bags then we started a movie before bed. But our next stop is,Kansas.
