Chapter 29

Its been a few months since we moved in the new apartment, Greg and Ryan left a week after we moved in. Mikayla is out with Tayler on a road tip and, well Kailey and Colby are engaged!

Today Kailey and I are having a girls day not only to have time with each other but so we can pick out my maid of honor dress!

While us girls are out Sam and Colby will be home watching the dogs.

After I eat breakfast i head to my room and pick out an outfit. I decided to put on high waisted jeans with a crop top. I straightened my hair and added a little make up.

"You ready!?" Kailey shouted scaring me.
"I don't know, let me find my heart first." I said with my hand to my chest.

We both laughed before grabbing our purses and heading out the door.

"So the first thing we are going to do is go to the movies then we will eat lunch and last but not least pick out the dress!"

We both giggled excitedly as she stated the last plan.

We soon enough arrived at the movie theater. I went up to pay for our tickets and Kailey went to get us drinks.

I decided that we should watch a movie that we watched with our grandma in the movie theater when we were little.

Finding Nemo.

We enjoyed the movie and went to our next location, chick-fa-la! Our favorite fast food.

We enjoyed our lunch as we talked about what kind of dress I should should wear.

We got distracted as we talked about almost everything and almost missed our appointment we had set up.

We rushed in through the boutique doors catching the cashiers attention.

"Hello!" She laughed.

"Hi we're..h-here..for."

"Rose?" The lady finished my sentence.

We both nodded out of breath.

"Don't worry, follow me."

We both followed her to a changing room with a rack of dresses hanging up.

"Feel free to try on as much as you want." She smiled leaving us alone.

I had tried on over 25 dresses before finding the right one.

Before we knew it, it was getting dark out, we checked out and made our way home.

Once we walked in the door we could smell something amazing.

"Just in time for dinner." Colby said giving Kailey a kiss.
