Thirteen

Monday was probably the worst day of school for me. Everyone knew what had happened so everyone was talking about it. Every time I saw Grayson he would look at me shake his head and look away. I felt so bad I just wanted to go talk to him but when I tried to approach him he would walk away.

Friday had finally came around and I spent most of my classes staring at the clock waiting for the bell to ring. Each bell that rang was one less class until I got to go home. It's been almost a week and I still haven't talked to Grayson. I feel horrible I need to talk to him.

School had finally finished and I made my way home. I didn't want to go to any parties I just wanted to stay home. As I got home Alex wasn't home he told me he was going to wait for his friends. By friends he means Ethan and Nate because Grayson won't come over.

I sat on the couch watching TV when Alex walked through the door and following close behind him was Nate Ethan and Grayson? Grayson came? I didn't expect that.

"Hey Ari" all the guys greeted me except for Grayson, he just gave me an angry look and sat on the couch with the guys. I decided to ignore it and continue watching my show. But I was interrupted by Allison barging into my house.

"Ari! Guess what we are doing tonight!" Allison shouted before coming over to me. I gave her a look showing that I was interested in what she had planned but I didn't want to go out.

"We are going on a double date." She told me and I looked at her like she was crazy.

"With who?" I asked because their is no way we are going to go out with 2 guys from our school.

"Their names are Nick and Shawn, Shawn is this guy I've been talking to for a while and he has a friend and I really want you to come with me" she said while her hands were together and she begged for me to say yes. I eventually caved and decided, why not? It's just a little date.

"Yes! Okay, they will be here at 8:00!" Allison said before leaving my house. I looked at the guys and they all quickly looked away. I decided to go upstairs and shower so I had time for my hair to dry. As soon as I got into my room I just started crying I don't even know why. It wasn't even about Lucas. I can't be crying over Grayson! I quickly wiped my tears away and got into the shower.

Once I finished drying my hair I decided to get dressed because it takes me a while to do my makeup.         

        Once i was finished getting dressed i just touched up my makeup. I then heard my door open, I turned around to see Grayson and I quickly stood up.
"Can we talk?" He asked and I felt so relieved that he wanted to finally talk. I nodded my head before having him come sit on my bed with me.

"Listen" Grayson spoke up but he didn't really need to say anything.

"No..." i told him because i didn't need him to apologize to me. He looked at me confused.

"you shouldn't be saying anything You didnt do anything." i told him and he stopped talking.

"Listen Grayson. I didn't want to tell my brother that I spent the night at your house, that would ruin your guys friendship I didn't want that. I could have gone another way with that! But I never hated you and I still don't. I am so sorry for ever saying that because I never meant it." I told him and he sat there and listened

"Ari, I never hated you, I can never hate you. I mean it's fun to mess with you" Grayson said smirking at me. I smiled at him before giving him a little nudge.

"So why did you say 'forget about you' to me?" I asked because that really hurt me.

"I was mad i didnt actually mean it" he said and that made me feel so much better

"you didn't?" i asked as I felt a smile creep up on my face.

"No Ari, I love.... being friends with you" he said before looking away from me

"Good, I like being friends with you too!" I told him before standing up from my bed.

"So we good?" Grayson asked as he stood up with me. I nodded before giving him a smile and hugging him

Grayson pulled away from our hug and looked at me, his eyes went wide and he smiled.

"Wow Ari, you look... hot!" he said and i felt heat rise to my cheeks.

"Thanks i've got a date" i told him and his smile faded.

"I heard, With who?" he asked as he still had is arms wrapped around me.

"i don't know Allison set it up! I hope he's cute" i told him lightly laughing. I don't know why I was talking to Grayson about this but it didn't feel awkward at all.

It turned 8:00 about 5 minuets ago so they should be here any minuet.

"I'm sort of nervous" i told Grayson as we stood in my room kind of talking

"Don't be this guys is lucky to be going on a date with you" he told me as I felt heat rise to my cheeks I quickly looked down.

"Thank you" i smiled going in to hug him again, when we pulled away we kept our arms wrapped around each other.

Our eyes locked together and I felt Grayson's lips softly press against mine. We had both tightened our grip around each other as we deepened the kiss. I was interrupted by the door bell ringing. We pulled away and neither one of us had anything to say.

"Um, I think that's them, ill see you when i get back?" i asked hoping he'd sill be here, he nodded and I slowly walked backwards until I felt my back hit my door, My heart was racing and my mind was somewhere else, I lightly smiled before I turned around to open the door. Before I could open it Grayson spoke up

"I have feelings for you" He said, my hand dropped from the door nob and I turned back around to face him.
