Eighteen

I woke up this morning and Grayson wasn't there. That made me kind of annoyed because I thought that things would have changed since last night but apparently not. This Is really making me regret last night.

I got out of bed and felt pain between my legs. I tried to walk as normally as possible so it wouldn't be noticeable. I made my way downstairs to see no one was home. I texted Alex to see where he went and I prayed he didn't come into my room last night when I was asleep.

Ethan and Grayson picked me up

So Grayson either snuck out as soon as I fell asleep or left super early in the morning. Either way I was extremely annoyed.

I looked at the time to see it was almost 1:00 so I decided to go pick up Allison and go to lunch.

"I heard you broke things off with Nick" Allison said as we walked to the restaurant.

"Their was never anything to break off" I told her before walking into the place.

"Well I broke things off with Shawn." She told me and I looked at her like she was crazy because they seemed to really hit it off.

"Why?!" I asked her

"I don't know. It wasn't there and I mean how am I gonna get in bed with Ethan if I'm with Shawn." She said as she nudged me and gave me a little wink.

"You're horrible!" I laughed as we took our seats.

"Maybe we can try a double dating thing with the Dolan twins" she suggested and I shook my head. I will never do that.

"No, just come over Ethan is always there" she nodded her head before looking at the menu.

We finished lunch and decided to just go back to my house. That was mainly Allison's idea but I wanted to get home too. It was about 3:30 now so I assumed Alex would be home.

I pulled up to the house and Allison was the first one to the door. I laughed at her as I followed behind. When I walked in I saw Ethan and Alex watching TV. I said hi to both of them.

"Where's Grayson?" I asked before sitting on the couch.

"On some date with some new girl" Ethan said rolling his eyes. I felt so angry I just wanted to scream. I wanted to go to him right now and just yell at him. I pulled out my phone and texted him.

Hey want to go on a drive?

I put my phone back in my pocket waiting for it to buzz. He replied quickly and I read his text.

Yeah, on my way.

I shook my head as I stared at the phone screen before turning it off. I heard his car door close and I grabbed my car keys and walked outside.

"Wait I wanted to go in for a minuet" Grayson said and I just shook my head and walked to the car as he followed behind me getting into the passengers seat. I started the car and drove off. I didn't want to talk to him so I turned the radio up.

We pulled up to this parking lot that overlooked the city. I then shut my car off and faced Grayson.

"What is your deal?" I asked him and he looked at me confused.

"You think you can have sex with me and then go out with some new girl the next day!" I shouted, I was pissed I shouldn't be treated like this. Unless him saying he liked me was just some way to get into my pants.

"Arianna." He said looking at me annoyed.

"Don't you dare. You are such a fucking dick if you telling me you had feelings for me was just to get me into bed with you, you are so fucking sick! I can't believe I fell for your fucking little game!" I shouted at him and he sat there and took it.

"That is not true! I never told you that because I wanted to have sex! That is far from it!" Grayson shouted because it seemed like I touched a soft subject.

"Then what is it?! What the fuck are you so afraid of that you keep running away!" I shouted, I remember Ethan telling me about his last girlfriend but I doubt Grayson will tell me anything.

"Nothing, Arianna!" He shouted as he balled his hands into a fist.

"It can't be nothing Grayson! You can't tell me you have feelings for me and then go sleep around with other people!! Why do you keep running away from this!" I shouted and I could tell he'd had enough.

"Because I'm scared!" He yelled and I looked at him confused as I watched his chest move up and down quickly.

"Scared of what?!" I asked

"Scared of having these feelings! Last time i had these feelings it didn't work out so well!" He shouted and now he was the one yelling and I was the one who just sitting and waiting for answers.

"What do you mean? What happened?!" I asked him and he took a deep breath.

"Last year I had a girlfriend who I was completely in love with and after being with her for a year I found out I was just a bet and she just wanted to have sex with me." He said before putting his head in his hands. I had no clue what to do now.

"Grayson, I'm not that girl. I wou-" but he cut me off.

"I told you how I felt! And you just left me! You left me for that guy! Do you know how much it took for me to actually let myself feel this way about a girl again?! Months! I put myself out there for you and you just fucking left me for a stupid blind date!! So you're right you aren't that girl! You are just another girl I shouldn't have fallen for!" He said before taking a breath.

"Do you know how hard that was for me! You don't get it! I don't ever want to feel that way again!" He shouted before looking out of the window.

"Gray-" but he cut me off again.

"Just take me home." Grayson said not even looking at me. I started the car and drove him to his house.
