I could not believe my parents were standing right in front of me. I can't believe that they flew all the way out here and are standing on my door step. I am so confused.
"What are you doing here?" I asked cold and unamused. I stood in the door way with my arms crossed showing them I didn't want them in this house.
"We wanted to speak with you and hopefully your brother" my mom spoke up and I couldn't help but let out a light laugh.
"I've said everything I've had to say to you guys. As for Alex you will never see him again and that's a promise" I told them and they looked at me with this sad sorry look that I wasn't buying.
"We just wanted to fix things with our kids." My mom said as I was about to close the door. I slowly opened it back and looked at her. She looked worried and she seemed like she wanted to cry.
"Your kids?" I asked looking around the house.
"Sorry I think you have the wrong house, because your kids aren't here! As far as I know, that is your only child" I said pointing to the little boy wrapped around my dads leg.
"You don't have any other kids, parents don't abandon their kids. My parents abandoned me so I don't have parents anymore. And you don't have your two kids anymore." I told her and she looked taken back and she shed a tear.
"Now I've said I'll I've needed to see. So get off of my property or I'll call the cops and tell them that three strangers are on my property trying to speak to me." I said before closing the door on them and looking at Grayson.
"Ari-" Grayson spoke up and I quickly interrupted him.
"Did you talk to them? After San Francisco?" I asked him because I was just curious. Grayson stayed quiet.
"Grayson." I said trying to get him to answer me.
"I'm so sorry" Grayson spoke up and my heart dropped. I didn't want to speak to him.
I walked past him and up the stairs.
"I just want you to work things out with your parents!" Grayson shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
"Stop trying to fix things Grayson! I'm happy with my life, I've told you so many times that I don't want them back in it! Leave it alone!" I shouted from the top of my steps.
"Ari I-" but I quickly cut him off because I was done with this conversation.
"Lock the door on your way out." I said quietly but loud enough so he could hear me.
I walked into my room and shut the door. I was so emotionally drained from speaking to them. I just wanted to go to bed.
-When I woke up this morning I had 10 missed call from Grayson and 5 texts from him. I didn't want to deal with any of it so I just shut my phone off and went downstairs to watch some TV.
I decided to turn my phone back on to see a few more missed calls from Grayson and some texts from Ethan. Just as I was about to set my phone down Grayson was calling. I decided to just answer it.
Ari? Oh thank god! Grayson sounded so relieved to hear me.
Ari: what is it Grayson?
Grayson: babe, can we please talk about this?
Ari: What is there to talk about
Grayson: everything that happened last night. Can I please just come over?
Ari: the doors unlockedI gave in because I couldn't ignore him forever he's my boyfriend, we have to talk it out.
After about 15 minuets Grayson walked through the door. I looked at him and lightly smiled as he walked over to the couch and sat down.
