Thirty Three

I woke up around 9:00 and saw Grayson was still asleep. I saw 3 missed calls from Alex and 5 text messages. The texts said

Where are you?
We need to talk!
Call me back!
Come to the house!
Hello?!!

I looked to see Grayson was still asleep. I kissed his forehead and got out of bed slowly and quietly. I threw my shorts on and left Grayson's t-shirt on. I quietly walked downstairs to see no one was there. I had left my car here when we left for San Francisco so I grabbed my keys and left. I quickly drove home and saw Alex's car in the drive way. I got out of the car and went into the house. Alex quickly stood up from the couch when I walked in. When I saw him I just wanted to cry, I wanted to hug him and cry.

"Hey" Alex said not moving from his spot. I gave him a light nod and a weak smile.

We stood in silence for a second before I walked over to him and hugged him. I felt tears start falling from my eyes. I quickly wiped them away and looked at Alex.

"I saw Mom and Dad" I told him and he took a deep breath trying to hold back from saying anything stupid.

"How'd it go?" He asked and I shook my head. I felt myself start laughing and Alex looked at me confused.

"They're so fucking ridiculous. Do you know we have a little 4 year old brother? Dad knocked Mom up one night in jersey and that's why they moved to San Fransisco! His name is Nathan" I told Alex and his eyes widened like he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Did you meet him?" Alex asked

"Not really, I was too busy telling mom and dad off." I told Alex and he started laughing

"You told them off?!" He asked super excited and I decided to tell him the whole story. I have never seen Alex smile so much, he looked like a proud big brother because of what I did.

After the laughing had died down he stood their in awkward silence.

"I got your texts" Alex spoke up, the texts of Brooke.

"As mad as I am I still won't let her fuck with you" I told him and he gave me a light smile.

"I ended it, I've wanted to end it since I saw what she had done to you." Alex told me and I smiled at him not knowing what to say.

"Ari, I've been a horrible brother! I was so blinded by Brooke and you were right this whole time! I was just so pissed about you and Grayson, I was just being stupid." He rambled on and I was happy that he realized what he had done. I decided to hug him again.

"It's fine" I said before pulling away from the hug.

"So how's Grayson?" Alex asked

"Great" I said awkwardly smiling at Alex.

"He seems to make you happy" Alex said rocking back and forth on his feet.

"I love him" I told Alex and he looked up at me confused. I was waiting for him to blow up and yell at me.

"Have you told him that?" Alex asked

"Yeah, well he told me first. But yeah in San Fran" I said smiling as I remembered that moment.

"Grayson loves you?!" Alex asked shocked because everyone knows Grayson doesn't do relationships let alone fall in love with someone. I nodded and he smiled.

"I want you to know I support this relationship." Alex said and that made me so happy I hugged him again.

"Thank you!" I said before going back to hug him again.

"But I feel like I shouldn't move back in just yet." Alex said and I looked at him confused. I had fun living alone but he had to move back in eventually.

"What why?" I asked him. Taking a step back so I could look at him.

"I feel like we haven't resolved everything so we aren't comfortable with each other right now. I'm going to stay at Nate's for now" Alex told me and it was understandable so I agreed that it would be best for now.

Alex decided to leave and I decided to watch some TV. I heard the door bell ring, I went to answer it and saw Grayson.

"Hey babe!" He said before walking into the house and sitting on the couch.

"Hi" I replied as I walked over and sat next to him.

"So, I have a question for you!" Grayson said as we sat facing each other on the couch. He took my hands and I positioned myself to sit straight up.

"What is it?" I said smiling at him.

"Tonight I was wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner" He asked looking down at our hands. I don't know what's different about tonight.

"With my parents" he added. He wants me to meet his parents.

"You want me to meet your parents?!" I asked kind of excited and that got him smiling again.

"Yeah, I mean they've heard great things about you! They want to meet you!" Grayson said and I couldn't help but smile.

"I'd love to!" I said before hugging him. He wrapped his hands tight around my waist before turning me to lay on the couch. I let out a little yell before laughing. He held him self over me. He just repeatedly kissed my lips.

"I *kiss* love *kiss* you *kiss*" Grayson said as I continued to laugh. I lifted my head up to kiss him.

"I love you!" I said before wrapping my arms around his neck so he could lower down to me.
