That night, I couldn't help thinking of our 'date'. It surely made up for earlier. We were so close to holding hands, but I never have the guts to make a move. We're so close but never close enough. There's been this small space, one I call the friend zone. We seem to be stuck there, and I don't know how to get out. I kicked off the blankets that were over me. The room was too hot, and I had to think.
I thought up of the perfect plan and was going to ask Mark tomorrow. I would have to get videos prepared and alter the day's uploading schedule a bit. That was the easy part. While trying to make my plan foolproof, I lulled myself to sleep.
I woke up to a text from Mark.
Mark-
Wanna go do something tomorrow? I don't have anything planned, and getting coffee was fun
He was one step ahead of me. I almost screamed and threw my phone at the wall in joy. Almost.
Jack-
Sure, does the amusement park sound okay?
Mark-
Sounds amazing! Maybe we can try to get there at around 10 am, so the lines won't be that long.
Jack-
I'll be at your house at 9, so we don't have to drive separately and waste gas
Mark-
I like the plan, see you at 9 then!
In hopes of my plan working, I already had a bunch of videos ready to upload. I had nothing to do today. So I decided to talk to Felix and see if he had any tips for me on my 'date'.
Jack-
I have something to tell you, but please don't tell anyone
Felix-
I'm listening
Jack-
I have a crush on Mark
Felix-
CALLED IT
KEN OWES ME 20 BUCKS
Jack-
Um, excuse me?
Felix-
We had a bet to see if you had a crush on him or not
Jack-
