Chapter:16 - So where's the turkey?

(PREVIOUSLY- The demur's are at a family gathering for thanksgiving, when all the kids of the family are upto something! PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THE AFTER-NOTE I WRITE IN THE END THS TIME)

Valentina was the eldest cousin, and so she planned it all!

Valentina- okay! Paola,Lele and Hugo distract all the people around table, okay?

Paola- but how will we do that?

Valentina- Don't worry, Lele and Hugo will help you with that

Suddenly my phone rang. It was an unknown number. I was about yo pick it up when..

Valentina- Hey this is buisiness, no phone calls here!

Me- yeah sorry!

Valentina- then, Danna, Amanda and Charlene hide under the table and wait for the right time to snatch the turkey off the table, okay? Go right away!

Now it was just me and Valentina left.

Valentina- Okay so you go to the store room, and keep it locked for no one to come in okay? 

Me- Yeah! And you?

Valentina- I'll be directing the trio to head to the store room plus handling plan b is needed!

Me- Okay!

And I left. I ran and made my way through the crowd and into the store room. As soon I locke the door, my phone rang again with the same number ringing, so I picked up- 

Me- hello?

Aaron- Hey is this Ariana Demare's number by any chance?

Me- Yeah  it is me!

Aaron- Oh, Aaron Clayton here!

Me- Oh hey Aaron, I couldn't be there for you that day, uh sorry, I mean I couldn't attend you that day! My sister told me you came!

Aaron- Yeaaaah! Um, so I was thinking if you could tell me if you were free, we could like get done with our project today itself!

Me- Actually, I'm out at my cousins place, and wait aren't you too supposed to be celebrating Thanksgiving?

Aaron- Yeah but I could always spare some time! Well just letting you know, the submission date is the day after tomorrow!

Me- Oh crap!

Aaron- Yeah, that's what I meant (chuckling)

Then we started giggling and soon our giggles turned into guffaws!

Aaron- Okay, so-um, I'll call you later?

Me- Yeah, I'm cool with it!

Aaron- Okay bye!

Me- Bye! 

As soon as I kept the phone, there were loud knocks on the door, at first I was going to open it, but then I thought of peeping through the hole to be double sure! And thank god I did, it was my aunt Marietta! So I quickly called Valentina-

Me- *whisper* Aunt Marietta Is outside the door,is she involved? What's the password?

Valentina- First- no! she isn't a part and the password is HAKUNA MATATA!

Me- Okay great, call the trio and tell them not to come here as yet, or she'll know!

Valentina- Yeah fine, anyways we haven't gotten the turkey as yet! bye and handle well!

me- bye!

So I slowly opened the door, revealing my aunt dressed up with everything she had in her house! She never thought straight, for her something or the other was wrong! She had a set mind- Boys don't play with girls and vice verse, people either call each other or talk it out if you message you're hiding something!girls have to be home by 7 and boys by 8, and chatting online with even the friends you've known for your life is DANGEROUS! And she can't stand people of different religions dating, marring or even hanging out!
